Great Drive Cloning Dock

Pros: USB 3.0 works very well - OS finds drives quickly and works well in pass-thru mode - Using PC cloning software. I routinely clone old drives to new ones and have been struggling for years with esata docks and add-on cards. So far a great product and time will tell if will be a long-term solution. I used the dock in standalone mode and it works well also. Great job StarTech !
Cons: If you use it in standalone mode and it encounters read errors on the source disk, it halts the clone. Startech does make a drive that will ignore errors, but I have software that will accomplish that.
Poor Quality Control

Pros: Great unit while it worked. What else is there to say, it is an unmanaged switch.
Cons: It died exactly 1 month in-service. Took the business network down.... :-(
Super SSD Drive

Pros: Easily Installed and very fast! With Samsung's reliability, these make great drives for business or home users!
Overall Review: Highly recommend purchasing.
High Failure Rate

Pros: I haven't purchased any of there other models and I have always had great results with their stick memory.
Cons: I rarely write reviews, but....... I have purchased dozens of these drives over the years and installed them in customer machines and my own. The failure rate is higher in the BX200 than all others manufacturers SSDs combined. I may regret this later :-) but I have never had a Samsung SSD fail!
Overall Review: I would not recommend installing one of these drives and using without a backup. I have RMA'd several of these and one of the replacement drives locked up in my Laptop this morning!
Failure Rate

Pros: Moderately priced
Cons: Failure rate increased in 2017 / 18
Overall Review: Samsung is still tops for reliability, performance and tools. I have returned 3 Crucial drives in the past 16 months for failure. I typically buy 30-40 per year.
TZ105

Pros: I have installed many of these with and without WiFi. They are great products made by an awesome company - Dell. Full customization with varied services (depending on your needs) to satisfying home/home office or small businesses. Tech support is highly qualified and available.
Cons: None that I am aware of, except perhaps gigabit. The latest generation TZ are all gigabit. Many put emphasis on this, only to find their modem does possess gigabit.
