Good picture. Does what I wanted it to do.
Pros: 4k, perfect size for my use, colors are good, the built in digital version of the owners manual has all the information you could need for normal, and only slightly abnormal use cases.
Cons: the physical manual that ships with it is garbage. has only the most basic of setup instructions and specs, with a couple safety warnings. I think its insane that "smart" tvs are a thing. A display is and always should be just that... a display. Apps that will probably never be updated, and the ability to have a tv be hijacked into some kind of mining botnet are just ridiculous.
Overall Review: If you are looking for a nice tv/display for your computer, Blu-ray, cable box, whatever, this will work just fine. Make sure your source supports the resolution and refresh rates before buying, since many slightly older models wont. If you want to use the built in apps to do stuff, be aware that the support for those apps will likely end long before the tv breaks, because that's how all smart tv apps are handled.
dissapointed
Pros: tunes analog and digital signals, better options in the software for seeking during time-shifting than with hypermedia on my kworld card.digital channels(when they work right) are nice and clear despite the splitters in my cable line.
Cons: digital channels start to skip and audio/video go out of synch after a while. software also can be glitchy at times(usually after its been running for a while on digital channels. could not find aftermarket software that would work right with digital channels via cable(only o.t.a.). channel numbers do not match the tv channel numbers(not even close for most of them).after you re-assign the channel numbers they occasionally rearrange themselves on the digital side, but will go back to what they were if you cycle through the whole lineup. oh and video tends to show ghosting.
Overall Review: i think the digital channels going glitchy may be a heat related issue and the software issues may be related to the card becoming unstable due to heat. amd 6000+ at 3.345ghz 9600gt
ok
Pros: tv on my pc! lots of inputs. works with xp service pack 3 no problems.
Cons: component input doesn't support hd on this model.
perfect addition to your water cooling system
Pros: temp dropped from 50 load to 35 load after an hour load test.my idle temp is 31(about the same as it was before water cooling)cant beat a 4 degree increase in temp at full load for an hour.
Cons: haven't found any yet.
Overall Review: 9600gt clocked at 767, amd athlon 6000+ at 3.3 m3nht deluxe mobo lian li pca70 case. swftech h20-220 kit with this and a different radiator(swiftec mcr320qp)
great product
Pros: everything you need to cool your cpu, dropped temps significantly.i cant list figures for my computer with this kit since i added a gpu block and switched to swiftech's triple 120 radiator when i put it in, but my brother bought the same kit and dropped his temps about 20 degrees
Cons: the fan adapters to go from 3 pin to 4 pin were put together wrong on mine and my brothers. they ended up switching the +12 to the +5 position on the molex coonectors, so i had to switch them around to use them. Newegg didnt have it in stock when i decided to order so i had to pay more somewhere else.
Overall Review: with my slightly modified version(gpu waterblock and triple 120 radiator instead of double)my cpu temps have dropped from 55-60 load to 35-40 load on the cpu and my gpu used to get up to 50 full load, but now i cant get it above 35(about 4 degrees above idle temp)cpu is an amd athlon6000+ oced to 3.3ghz, gpu is a nvidia 9600gt clocked at 767 mhz. radiator is mounted externally and room temp is between 75 or 80 constantly.
nice
Pros: nice and stable all the way to 3.3 with a .025 voltage bump..... idles at about 35 with stock cooling.
Cons: 3.3 is rock solid but 3.345 gives bsod in minutes. grrrrr
Overall Review: this chip, m3nht deluxe mobo, lian li pca70b case, asus's nvidia 9600gt oc'd to767
