NCASE M1 / R7 3700X build, love this board, all black no RGB junk
Pros: - Sleek, minimal, all-black build. Looks great. - Very little "gamer" RGB junk. - Worked out-of-the-box with R7 3700X. - Board comes with a power switch header cable with extender pins so you don't have to wire up the power/HDD LED pins individually. Loved this!
Cons: None so far!
Overall Review: I've been using this board for 2 weeks in my new NCASE M1 / Ryzen 3700X build. I was concerned about the little VRM fan making noise, but so far it doesn't run during regular desktop use. It might run during games, but the GPU and CPU fans spin up and I wouldn't be able to hear it anyway. System runs cool and quiet, silent unless gaming! Very happy. - I removed the SSD heat spreader, that's not needed. - Some pins are tight, but that's to be expected.
Love this UPS
Pros: - No proprietary USB connector! This is huge after dealing with APC's terrible proprietary USB connectors for years. - Quiet, only makes a slight hum when charging. - Looks clean and professional. - Display can be configured to shut off or stay on.
Cons: - No cons!
Overall Review: This was my first CyberPower purchase and I was pleasantly surprised. This thing has more than enough power to support a gaming desktop and monitor or two to give you enough power to prevent brownouts from damaging your computer, or to give you a few minutes to shut down if there's a power outage.
NCASE M1 / R7 3700X build: Totally silent!
Pros: - It's totally silent during normal desktop use. - Fan might spin up slightly during gaming, but still can't hear a thing. - This is my 4th/5th Seasonic PSU, I put them in all my computers. I've been consistently happy with their quality: never had one fail or make too much noise.
Cons: No cons!
Overall Review: It's a bit tight in my NCASE M1, the power cables need to be bend sharply to avoid contacting the RX 580 GPU card, but otherwise I'm glad I got this SFX-L PSU. This is the first PSU I've ever had that makes a little "click" when I turn it on, and when the machine turns off. It sounds like a relay inside switching -- kinda cool. Otherwise this thing is absolutely silent!
40 months across 4 drives and no issues
Pros: - High quality, reliable. Haven't had any issues across 4 of these drives with a total of 40 months of usage across all drives. - They're used in always-on NAS or VM servers and perform very well even under that stressful environment.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Great price and value. They just work and keep working.
Great PSU
Pros: - Totally silent. - Truly modular, only the big 24-pin mobo connector and 8-pin 12V mobo connector is permanently connected. But those are the ones you always need! - Cables have a braided sheath that looks well made. - Looks good!
Cons: None
Overall Review: Replaced my noisy Corsair TX650M with this and love it. I only need about 300W for my rig (GTX 770, i5 4670, M2 SSD, no optical drives) and so 520 W is more than enough. My desktop's total power consumption is about 80 W.
I have four and love them
Pros: - QUIET! - Easy to install, - Solid build quality. - Fan can be repositioned easily. - Comes with tons of parts, tools, and adapters.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I use these coolers on four processors -- one i5 and three Xeon E5 CPUs -- and they haven't let me down. They are absolutely silent at idle and make a sexy, deep, throaty whirr under load. The stock PWM connector on the fan works in every motherboard I've tried it on and allows the motherboard to change the fan speed when the temp rises. Most stock case fans don't have this (just the 3-pin always-full-speed connector). Treat yourself to this CPU cooler, I'm glad I did!
