As fast as advertised

Pros: This machine was built for Video and Photo Editing, with speed and stability the goal. It therefore has not been pushed much passed the rated speeds for the processor and Memory. It has performed extreamly well, and is very stable. This memory is highly recomended for anyone that needs fast, stable DDR3 Memory.
Cons: Cost
Overall Review: GIGABYTE GA-X38T-DQ6 Motherboard, Quadcore Extreme QX6850 CPU, CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) PC3 12800 - WIN3X40961600C7DHXIN, Hitachi 1T SATA2 HDD, Diamond Radion X2900HD w/1G DDR4. RealPower Pro 750W Power Supply.
WARNING-DRIVER DISK LOADS MALWARE!

Pros: Board works fine, once you get the malware off.
Cons: The AMD 8-Series Utility DVD, part number 120c1-amd8se-130cr Ver. 1.3 loads "Splashtop games by Zenga" and device VM as the first thing when you try to load the drivers for the 880GA-UD3H v2.2 motherboard. This is a particularly nasty thing as it can ONLY be removed by doing a system restore to before you loaded the motherboard drivers. The only way to load the drivers on windows 7 is to go to another computer, download the LAN driver to a USB drive, load that on your new system and then download all of the drivers manually from the Gigabyte site.
Overall Review: It is inexcusable that Gigabyte would let a infected disk be packed with a new motherboard.
Fantastic

Pros: FINALLY! A Blu-Ray Media that gives the Ink Jet Printer user results similar to that of a Commercial disk. Burns perfectly, has rich saturated colors, and is glossy. I have found that the printing is a bit contrasty, but that should be able to be to be corrected during post with your editing program.
Cons: none
Dramatic network improvement!

Pros: This unit replaced a Trendnet unit that failed. The VIP port was connected to the DSL modem and the improvment in speed of the network was dramatic. Unit runs cool to the touch.

How lucky do you feel today?

Pros: Pretty
Cons: There evidential are a few good DIR-615 routers out there. They are few and far between. The unit that I got WAS NOT ONE OF THEM! After an arduous set up with the setup not working at all with Windows XP in the 802.11G mode, two Windows Vista machines were connected using WPA and TKIP. One Vista machine was connected using the D-Link DWA-140 USB N adapter, the other using a built in G adapter. Within a few days neither would connect even with a reboot of the DIR-615.
Overall Review: Have replaced it with a NETGEAR WNR2000. ALL computers, no matter what operating system was on them, connected the first time and every time. Using the D-Link DWA-140 USB N network adapter was no problem, and the resulting speed was 270 mbs.
