Kworld Denies Rebates

LINKSKEY TV1531R TV Tuner Box, REMOTE Controller
LINKSKEY TV1531R TV Tuner Box, REMOTE Controller

Pros: Ok quality but buyers should read below.

Cons: Kworld had not even common business courtesy to email or write a letter back to me on their denial. I sent them exactly what Newegg sent me: original sales reciept, upc code and the rebate form. Yet they come back and say that it must be "origianl or copy of the sales receipt and original bar code." Don't trust their rebates. Trust Newegg, I hope they don't fall for this company again like I did. ...And to not even email or write a letter back and just wait until I contact them? That's bad business ethics.

Mine won't run DDR or 4 dimms (compatibilty issue?)

AMD Opteron 170 - Opteron Denmark Dual-Core 2.0 GHz Socket 939 110W Processor - OSA170CDBOX
AMD Opteron 170 - Opteron Denmark Dual-Core 2.0 GHz Socket 939 110W Processor - OSA170CDBOX

Comments: Can anyone else run this processor at 128 bit DDR? Mine default to 64bit single channel. Also having a problem with it not accepting more than 2 sticks of memory (2 dimms max). This is the only problem I have with this processor. I never had this problem with my 3500 clawhammer or 3800x2 on this same system. Also, it strangly switched the memory configuration on the dimms. It must have an empty dimm between each occupied dimm. So it only runs when dimm 1+3 is occupied or dimms 2+4. I can overclock it to 2700 as it was the last shipment of the the CCBWE 0530TPMW that they had before stock ran out the first time on Nov 15th. Abit Av8 2x512mb Corsair Value ram (can't do 4x512 or Dual channel at all)

Crucial RealSSD C300 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CTFDDAC128MAG-1G1

Pros: Once Aligned. Very good performance

Cons: Making sure it's aligned. With XP/W7 dual boot, this required allowing W7 to make the partitions first (and possibly format, can't remember that part). Had to then install XP on that W7 made partion.

Overall Review: on P35 board (Abit IP35 pro) SATA 2 ONLY seq read avg 260 mb/s seq write avg 135 mb/s 4k read 27 mb/s 4k write (50 mb/s) (AFTER ALIGNMENT) This numbers are consistent, and with the CPU Underclocked to 1.5ghz (Intel e8400) Overclocking made marginal differences but sometimes reduced some speeds

Cons: slightly stiff.

Ever overclock a psu?

FSP Group ATX400-PA 400W ATX12V Power Supply
FSP Group ATX400-PA 400W ATX12V Power Supply

Pros: Exceeds 400 watt specs! Tested on Futurmark 06 benchmark and STALKER game for several hours. Maintained past spec loads of 400 watts, handled 450 easily and even peaked to 492 watts without shutting off on gaming. Stays fairly cool. Under my extreme loads the psu only stayed warm. Stable Stable Stable. This psu is not meant to run a machine like mine. I'm seriously going to make this an OEM PSU for personal builds. Just look at the system I tested it on! Watt meter used was Seasonic Power Angel. This psu WILL deliver more than 400 continous Watts. Newegg is Amazing! They deserve to make good money. Never had a bad experience with then.

Cons: Negligable...Only because I'm overclocking, 3dmark06 was the only test that could shut this psu down and only 15% of the time. This psu is SICK! I can not believe that a 400 watt psu could handle my system and maintain nominal loads for 465 watts for a nice hour of gaming/benching. I had no problem at all running my Opty 170/SLI stock. It will power it w/o any issues.

Overall Review: PSU was tested on my same system, using 2 differnet processors: AMD 3200 Oc'd to 2.6 ghz Opteron 170 dual core at 2980 mhz DFI Lanparty UltraD (SLI mod) 2 x Evga 7900GT's (both volt modded to 1.55v (725/800) 2 x Maxtor Sata drives in RAID CPU + both GPU's watercooled while psu supplying pump power. Scythe Icute VFD fan controller manipulating 3 YL fans on radiator. 1 x large 120x38mm Sanyo Denki Exhaust fan I bought this as a replacement psu for a friends emachine and matched it with a Biostar T-force 6100 mb from here (open box). I wanted to see if this psu could truely handle extreme loads. My system normally pull 400-500 watts while gaming on my Enermax Liberty 500 (bought from here too!). This psu is rated 400 watts max and initally I had trouble with my mid overclocks around 2.6ghz but I think it was a bios setting. I finally was able to get all 2 games tested stable at my maximum system overclock 2.9ghz, opty 170, and sli 7900gt's vmodded to run 720+. Amazing PSU!

Amazing. A must buy!

ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT 500 W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT 500 W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: TRUE to it's specs. Exceeds its specs. I've been testing this psu since I got it in Febuaray on a dual core Opteron 170 (2.9ghz) and for the past month running it in sli on 2 x 7900GT's w/1.5vmod oc'd 680/940. My sesonic power angle power monitor has recorded this psu pulling peaks of 578 watts running 3dmark06 and has no issues running 500 watts continues while runing cool. I get a PF rating on my monitor of .98-.99 and VoltAmp rating just a few numbers above the wattage pull readings. This psu is powering a dual core 170, 7900GT in sli 1.5vmodded cards, dvd-rw, 2 drives, fan controller, 2x120mm fans, and full blown watercooling using a D5 pump. All while overclocked to the max w/no system crashes even during peaks past 550 watts.

Cons: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Overall Review: I purchased this from a neweggs competitor but felt I had to give a good review of it here since I'm always ordering from newegg too.
