SilverStone ST45SF-G 450 W SFX12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Small yet packs a punch. Quiet. I had to check to ensure the fan was actually spinning.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Cables are short. I purchased the short cable kit thinking they would be even shorter for my small itx build, but they were the same size as the cable that already come with this PSU. No ones fault but mine, just a fair warning to anyone that may have similar thoughts.

Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, Blue LED Fan, Black Steel & Plastic - BLACKBONE
Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, Blue LED Fan, Black Steel & Plastic - BLACKBONE

Pros: Looks good. Does its job.

Cons: PSU barely lined up, Motherboard didnt quite line up, and opportunity for wire management is nonexistent. And expect a fan under 120mm if you want one on the side panel if you have an aftermarket cooler.

Overall Review: Case is good overall, just little annoyances everywhere made for a pain in the rear. Rosewill has had some great products in my experience, but this ca

Solid case

NZXT Source 210 S210-002 White w/Black Front Trim “Aluminum Brush / Plastic” ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: As advertised. No issues threading mounts, plenty of room for wire management, and fairly priced. Lot of room for fans.

Cons: My fault, but a Hyper 212 will touch the door. Did not cause issues in closing, it is just a very tight fit. Would've liked a few more fans included, but not a deal breaker.

SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-7PD128BW

Pros: Fast. Reliability.

Cons: Cost, but doesn't everyone want these cheaper?

Overall Review: This is the 4th Samsung SSD I've used in a build and I've no interest in straying away. All my research into user reviews and everything points to these drives. I'm still using 2 830 series in my personal computer and they're great.

Pros: Cost and performance. Included fan is fine for basic web surfing and light programs and is pretty quiet.

Cons: Like most AMD, they tend to run a bit warmer than other options, but nothing I'd complain about.

Overall Review: Used this for a basic home pc for a relative and is quite honestly overkill for what they use it for. It's quite a little powerhouse and runs warm with stock cooler, but nothing to worry about. I could easily see this being used for a light gaming machine with an after maket cooler.

Antec GX500 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Antec GX500 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Looks good. Not heavy by itself. Looks like it has decent wire management. Spacious.

Cons: So far, issues with rebate. First request was declined and I'm afraid my second will be declined.

Overall Review: I'll be honest and say I only bought it because of the deal. $24.99 with free shipping after $20 rebate. You can't get a much better deal for a case like this. Now I'm going through the all-to-common rebate troubles you hear about. Not Newegg's fault, though I really would like to see distributors honor manufacturer warranties. Otherwise, this seems like a solid case and when I get to it, should be a fun build.
