Nice case

LIAN LI PC-A05B Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI PC-A05B Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is very well built. Although it is on the small side, it is still able to accommodate massive video cards. The 2 x 120mm fans are also a huge plus. I also really like the USB's on the top rather than in the front on the bottom.

Cons: The only con I can think of (and why I didn't give it 5 stars) is there is very little airflow in the top rear corner where the PCI slots are located. This causes my 8800GT to run about 10 degrees warmer in this case than my previous Coolermaster.

Overall Review: I've built two systems using this case. One for myself and one for a friend. He has an 8800GTX in his and he's very happy with it. I just got an Arctic ACCELS1 Rev 2 for my GT along with the fans so I expect the temps to come down quite a bit (and be quieter at the same time). I really like this case so upgrading the cooling on my card for it isn't a huge deal.

Not a good quality unit - buy something else

Rosewill RSH-511M 11-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper/CD/Credit Card Shredder
Rosewill RSH-511M 11-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper/CD/Credit Card Shredder

Pros: Shredded paper until it died.

Cons: Does not to a good job and dies prematurely. Definitely does not shred 11 sheets without a serious struggle.

Overall Review: I used it once a month for almost 9 months so it's not like I was really punishing it or anything. At first it would shred up to 10 sheets, but would really struggle so I tried to only feed it up to 6 sheets at a time. Any more than 6 and it would really complain. Do not buy this shredder. Find something else. Seriously.

Polk Audio Monitor 60

Polk Audio Monitor 60 Black Floorstanding Loudspeaker Single

Pros: I replaced a set of Polk RM75's with these matched with a CS1 center channel for the front stage and it is a night and day difference. I'm VERY happy with these. Great sound for the money.

Cons: Size, but there isn't much you can do about that.

Kingston ValueRAM 1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model KVR400X64C3AK2/1G

Pros: I added this memory to an old Dell Dimension 4500 and it works great. Huge improvement over the 256 with which it came.

Cons: Would be nice if it was a little cheaper.

Overall Review: Kingston rocks.

It's a beast!

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 - Core 2 Quad Yorkfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 775 95W Processor - BX80569Q9450
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 - Core 2 Quad Yorkfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 775 95W Processor - BX80569Q9450

Pros: This processor is a real beast! I upgraded from a single core 3800+ and wow, what a difference! Encoding audio and video is much faster. It chews up games as well.

Cons: Price, but it has already come down $20 since I got it.

Overall Review: I'd highly recommend this processor. The 12mb cache really makes a difference!
