Working Great
Pros: I built a small media pc as a sort of set top box a client pc for different types of streaming media. It handles the task very well. Low power consumption and easy install. No problems so far. Nice price to performance ratio.
Cons: none.
Overall Review: Good CPU for basic tasks. Nice low power profile.
Pros: Fairly good entry level device. I found it easy to setup and the interface is clean. It performs well for sharing an internet connection, but see the cons.
Cons: I see peeks and drops in the activity routed through this device. It's not really noticeable for smaller things, but when streaming video from one computer to another on the network it becomes apparent.
Good sound, minor cosmetic damage
Pros: Speakers sound excellent. They produce good base and clean sounds in the mid and high ranges (I'm not an audiophile, my subjective assessment).
Cons: One of the speakers came damaged on the top left corner. It definitely did not happen in shipment as the box was completely undamaged. It was minor damage to the plastic and the corner of the speaker box. As I was using these in a bedroom I did not RMA. I fixed most of the visible damage with glue, and can live with the crack in the plastic, There was no discernible effect on the sound. I took an egg off for the cosmetic damage as I believe it happened in factory. I ordered 2 at the same time and one came pristine and the other came damaged. I'm not the only review to have this happened to so I docked an egg (again this was not Newegg's shipper, or UPS's shipping and delivery from what I can tell).
Overall Review: Some don't like the look of the speakers I don't mind it, and they are growing on me. These speakers are heavy be careful un-boxing them. Summary: - excellent sound - risk of getting a unit with cosmetic damage - heavy
Good
Pros: Bought 2 of these about a year ago. They were a huge upgrade in speed to a regular hard drive. They have been in continuous use for the whole year. One in a desktop, and the other in a laptop that has seen heavy travel and abuse. I have had absolutely no problems with these drives. I coincided these upgrades with new installs of win 7 and had a smooth time of it. Overall I have found these to be a good reliable performance for the price point.
Cons: Not the fastest availible
Overall Review: There are faster SSDs out there. However, I found these good for the price point. If you are looking for the fastest SSDs do a little research. If you are looking for something with mid to high level performance upgrading from spinning hard drives I've found these to be a good fit and very reliable so far.
Does the Job
Pros: Sturdy, Looks good on the desk, lots of adjustment options, quick setup, the stand freed up a little more space on the desk.
Cons: It was a little scary getting the monitors on by myself it wants to tip with only one monitor mounted. It is a little awkward to adjust, the bigger the monitors the more awkward.
Overall Review: I gave this a 5 since I wont be adjusting it often. Also stands that are foot based rather than clamped to the desk are all likely to be a little cumbersome to adjust. For the price this was exactly what i was looking for. I also had no problems lining up the monitors. Setup took under 15 min. despite it wanting to tip over when I got the first monitor mounted. When you are attaching the monitors I suggest putting something sturdy under the first one to prop it up. After they are attached the balance is excellent.
Good
Pros: Does what it is advertised to do. Cable is sturdy. Good for a short run where you don't want a lot of extra cable hanging around.
Cons: The cable is stiffer than I expected. Made it hard to deal with excess cable where I wanted to roll up the extra.
