Pros: No issues at all so far. I would guess that some of the problems others have mentioned could be attributed to their motehrboard capabilities. Transfers very well. I have both the single dock and this one, both BYTECC and for the money, there is no way to beat this. The Sharkoon has a dual power button, which may be the only thing this is missing but that feature is definitely not an essential one. I have used BOTH SATA II and SATA III drives in this and it seems to like both equally. Obviously, the SATA III transfer speeds were higher, in fact, about 70% higher than what I get from the SATA II drives I have used. The lone SATA III used was the Hitachi 3TB. I have a couple of Samsung 2TB drives which I have also used. The difference in their speed is also likely accountable by the Samsung's slower 5400rpm and 32MB cache compared to Hitachi's 7200rpm and 64MB cache. At any rate, the dock has been excellent so far.

Cons: Don't see any problems in connecting the drive as others have stated. Waited over a month before writing this just to make sure. Dock was recognized immedialtely by Windows 7 and is very friendly with my ASUS P6X58D-Premium board. LED is nice. Might be considered bright if you use it in a dark room and have it placed in front of your monitor. Otherwise, the blue & red LEDs are no issue here.

Overall Review: Best bang for the buck. Up to half the cost of other dual USB 3.0 docks. Runs quiet enough. Drives get a bit warm but that also depends on your drive. Can't fire up any huevos rancheros on it and it won't keep you warm during cold days. If I have any problems later, I'll let you know.

Pros: I'm not sure if this usb drive is good or not! It was initially to have arrived yesterday by end of day then around 6pm, delivery estimate changed from Friday to Monday??? What's wrong with Saturday? The mail gets delivered today too. Besides that, tracking shows it is sitting at the postal center less than a mile from my home!! This is horrible service. Not sure if this is a USPS issue or a new egg lacks delivery schedule?? Either way, no bueno all around.

Cons: Minor issue but it gets slightly louder when gaming using EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3 on max settings. UPDATE: June 2020- The fan is very noisy, especially on startup. It actually sounds like it is going to break or fly apart. Nothing is rubbing and the blades spin fine but it is incredibly loud. Once the bios settings fully kick in and the fan speeds up, it gets somewhat quieter but overall, out of all the fans I bought of this maker/model, this one is the only lemon. Should have lasted longer than 6 months!

Overall Review: Hey, it's supposed to blow all the hot air out and when gaming so it's probably going to get a bit louder, right?

Pros: Outstanding features in every way. Highly attractive. Great storage. Cooling appears above average. I have not yet purchased but plan to as soon as the X99 boards are released.

Cons: 1. No light on the back of the case for the Mobo plate? 2. Agree with one online reviewer that the ODD locks are a bit cheap for the magnitude and cost of this case. 3. Ugly face plate hiding I/O USBs & jacks. Other cases got it right i.e. Phantek Ethnoo Primo and NZXT H440. Just make them flush on the top or face and you're good to go. Hiding behind a cheap fold up door that doesn't even recess completely into the plane of the face plate is like a giant pimple on Halley Berry's perfect cheek!

Overall Review: Robin Williams had a human impact that cannot be paralleled. He will be greatly missed.

Pros: Obviously the room! Transfer speeds are very good, even when connected via my BYTECC dual SATA II external dock! Transfer speed started at 105MB/s and went down (as expected) to about 80 MB/s! Now connected into my #2 SATA III port in my ASUS P6X58D Premium and works very well. Quiet and a bit warm but nothing worrisome. Current NewEgg price is ~ $27 less than what I paid (including tax)! I would say jump on this if your board can handle it.

Cons: None as yet. About 15 days old with me.

Overall Review: I'd love to load my whole case with these but sadly, no more cash at the moment.

Pros: This unit is faster than USB 2.0 but not quite as fast as advertised. Transfer speeds often start of b/w 60-82 MBps but steadily decline as transfer continues, especially with large files or folders. I use it primarily to back up large blocks of data and it is definitely faster than my old 2.0 enclosure.

Cons: Transfer speed slows as transfer continues.

Overall Review: No prblems with connection, LED, heat, noise, any of that. If you don't let the HD rest in the unit for about 2-4 minutes after you've "Safely removed drive", drive will have a medium to strong magnetic field around it for a few minutes. Feels weird but doesn't damage drive. I'm sure this is true of all enclosures when removing a drive too soon after being "hot". Would've preferred the dual enclosure but they weren't available when I bought this one in 01/2010. Oh yeah, NEW EGG dominates all with shipping, returns and discounts. Thanks NewEgg!
