Pros: -Heavy like an appliance and blends right into the entertainment center and peripherals. -Simple to use right out of the box and screwless option locks the hard drives in place. -Simple Design=One button for ON/OFF and the option to pull trays you don't want to boot them up. -After my mouse driver error, I was prompted to download the correct driver to run the enclosure and my wireless mouse simultaneously. Downloaded, installed, and working well!

Cons: -My first power up with 4 drives threw out the mouse driver for the computer! Reboot! Reboot! -A bit of force is required to get the push-button clips (holding the trays in place) to clip into the chassis if the hard drive is a bit long. Careful the plastic is fragile, but mechanism is solid. -Time will tell. I will follow up after 6 months!

Overall Review: A solid piece of hardware for the storage freak seeking reliability and ease of use for continual hot swapping and trouble-shooting or simply upgrading to larger spaces and letting the individual drives ride like the 4 horseman of digital storage! I will buy more if they are still available because you can't beat the price... CHEAP!

Overall Review: Wonderful product for easy access to old laptop hard drives converted to storage. The first thing to understand about this product is it requires an initial amount of patience. The case is difficult to open before you UNDERSTAND THAT IT SLIDES TOGETHER instead clips like cell phone cases!!!!! Fragile! Handle with care! All components were inside the closed case so this is like treasure hunting for the patient explorer! There is a lip at the end of the plug-in section that make hard drive extraction tricky. Just gently lift up on the back end of the drive and pull to release the hard drive! Enjoy your new sliding enclosure!
