Works great
Pros: Great. Works as advertised and makes great bread.
Cons: The instructions for how to make bread rise could have more ideas. When trying to make wheat bread I'd constantly have problems with bread not rising. Turns out I was keeping yeast in the fridge, and it didn't have enough time to warm up before the kneading started. I figured it out through trial and error.
Works with *some* cards + hard to troubleshoot
Pros: Can be fast. Works with some cards. Easy installation.
Cons: Can be slow. Doesn't work with some cards.
Overall Review: The bottom line is that this thing may work great for you, but if it has problems good luck with troubleshooting. I tried this thing first with a Delkin 450x CF II card and I was able to install Windows XP in 4 freaking hours. After rebooting, it took about 4 seconds to get to the welcome screen (!) but it got stuck on the welcome screen for 10 seconds, and it takes forever to run any programs. I ran Crystal Mark Info and I get read speeds between 4 and 70 MB/s and writes between 0.1 and 30 MB/s, which pretty much sums up the experience. So I tried SanDisk Ultra II 15 MB/s and it was actually installing Windows a little faster, until my system didn't recognize it as bootable disk (i.e. the CD installer copies files to it, but after the first reboot it won't boot from the drive). So the adapter could actually be perfectly fine, but good luck trying to figure out what the problem is if you run into one.
