Love it!
Pros: Sound quality is superb. Absolutely love it. The rear speakers are very light and is very easy to hang. It really makes movies and games sound incredible! The subwoofer is compact and sounds great! It's low profile enough to fit under the gap in some couches, making the movie experience pretty great!! The built-in 3D is somewhat different than my TV's. I don't know if I like it better or not, but it seemed to be a bit harder for me to focus on the image. I need to try some actual 3D movies to see how it compares. Options for audio control are okay, but many are cryptic. The manual is not very good at explaining some of them, either. For example, "Center Focus" enables audio from the two side speakers rather than just the center speaker. The manual does not state this. Overall, this thing does exactly what you need it to do. It's a great entry-level surround sound system if you're just getting your home theater set up. Plus, it looks very professional.
Cons: ARC connection is buggy. It's not a usable input unless you make it the default input, which is really annoying. This means that if your cable box is connected through optical and your other devices are connected to the TV, you cannot use ARC since chances are you'll be setting optical as the default input. That means all other devices will not play through the speakers. Either that, or you'll have to set ARC as the default, and then manually switch to optical every time you turn it on - which defeats the purpose of the TV controlling the default input. Only solution is to run everything through an optical switch to get 5.1 surround. Fairly annoying issue. Panasonic doesn't seem to acknowledge it whatsoever. The "Smart TV" interface is insanely slow. Not very usable. Could use more inputs.
Overall Review: My center channel had one speaker go bad. Good news is I bought the extended warranty, and it was all taken care of! I've got a new Polk center-channel speaker. Sounds even better!!
