Drive originally not detected
Pros: once I got it working, it was a breeze.
Cons: Apparently did not have a partition and took a bit to figure that out. Originally thought it was a USB issue or possibly a hardware defect.
Overall Review: In summary, USB seemed to pick up the drive, but it would not show up in explorer as a mounted drive. no errors on the USB side of things. I had to go into storage management to look at it to show an error. So I dropped into the command prompt, created a primary partition for the drive and then used storage management to format it NTFS and mount it to a drive letter. Not what I would call plug and play to say the least, but it works fine now.
