Solid board- Hard some issues tho.

ASRock B760M PRO RS LGA 1700 Intel B760 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX Motherboard
ASRock B760M PRO RS LGA 1700 Intel B760 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX Motherboard

Overall Review: Paired this with an Intel i7 14799KF. Could not get the video to appear. After extensive troubleshooting, finally moved the video card to the PCI slot nearest the edge of the board. Video finally appeared, was able to update to the latest BIOS and now everything is working ok. Primary PCIe slot works fine. Probably won't have this issue if you have a vanilla or K variant of the newer CPUS as you can probably just use the onboard. And it's possible that newer boars are updated. Mine was on V1.X. Hopefully this helps someone.

Most Critical Review

Avoid this board.

ASRock B560M PRO4 LGA 1200 Intel B560 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock B560M PRO4 LGA 1200 Intel B560 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Inexpensive, proven brand.

Cons: Failure rate. Collateral damage

Overall Review: I've purchased 3 of these boards and all three have failed. I bought a pair in Feb 2022, coupled with an i7 11700F in both systems. The first board failed May of 2023 and it took the CPU with it. The system would light up, but no display. and the DRAM and CPU lights on the board lit up red. Purchase another board of the same model via another vendor with an i7 11700K and set the system up and deployed it a few months later. The second system failed Jan of 2024- again, taking the CPU with it. The board model wasn't available so I just built a new system with an ASRock B760M PRO RS. The rebuilt 1st system failed in March of 2024- this time the CPU wasn't completely fried, but it is unstable and I will not be using it in any systems going forward. I would avoid this board.

So far, So good...

Seagate Expansion 500GB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive
Seagate Expansion 500GB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive

Pros: High transfer speeds on USB 3.0. Transfers run around 65MB/s +/- depending on the number of files and sizes.

Cons: Sometimes it takes a few seconds to "wake up".

Overall Review: I've been burned by Seagate quite a bit this past year. I've had to RMA around 6 hard drives and, even though it's been pretty painless, it still cost money to ship and then wait for the refurbished part to arrive. So far this device has been a great replacement to my USB 2.0 version of this (shiny case). I'm kinda bummed that I have to bring another cable with me (mini, micro, now usb3 cable) but it's small, and I don't mind that it is short. I've had it for around 4 months. No issues up to this point.
