Awesome Little Tool

BAFX Products 34t5 Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool for Android Devices
BAFX Products 34t5 Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool for Android Devices

Pros: Great little thing, especially considering the price. Been working flawlessly for a good while now, been using it to track mileage on my 2001 Corolla (averaging 36MPG!).

Cons: Can be somewhat hard to setup if you're technologically illiterate, but then you really shouldn't be buying this if you don't know your stuff.

Overall Review: Buy it.

Beware of PNY

PNY GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card VCGGTX9704XPB
PNY GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card VCGGTX9704XPB

Pros: -It's a 970 -reasonably quiet at idle -blower cooler keeps heat out of the case; so it should be nice for SLI

Cons: -extremely loud at load (especially with two in SLI) I have two of this card, both of which started HEAVILY artifacting around the same time. I'll chalk that up to bad luck. However, this is not why I'm giving two eggs. The reason for my giving it two eggs is that upon attempting to contact PNY about the defective cards, they've stonewalled me. I've tried the RMA service on their site, calling them, sending emails - and NOTHING. This is beyond abhorrent behavior on their part. Additionally, from my experience: the failure rate appears to be quite high.

Overall Review: Buy a 970 from a different manufacturer - PNY will make sure that you can't get defective products replaced even though they claim to have a 1 year warranty.

This is the best 4K monitor for the money at the moment - when used correctly.

AOC U2879VF 28" 4K 3840 x 2160 UHD Gaming Monitor, 1ms Response Time, 10-bit Panel w/ Over 1 Billion Colors, AMD FreeSync, 20M:1 SmartContrast, DisplayPort/HDMI/DVI/VGA Inputs
AOC U2879VF 28" 4K 3840 x 2160 UHD Gaming Monitor, 1ms Response Time, 10-bit Panel w/ Over 1 Billion Colors, AMD FreeSync, 20M:1 SmartContrast, DisplayPort/HDMI/DVI/VGA Inputs

Pros: -Excellent response times, but ONLY when using displayport - which is fine since you're probably going to be using that anyways. -Size is just right for 125% scaling in Windows. Allows for improved desktop real estate and clarity over other monitors. -Color reproduction is excellent, after tweaking some settings. -While I've never had a use for this feature, this is indeed a true 10-bit panel. Quite impressive at this price range. -AOC has excellent reliability history, and my personal experience follows this trend. Had three identical 1080p AOC monitors for 6 years and never had a single issue with them. I expect the same from this monitor. -Each unit comes color-calibrated from the factory, with a color chart for your reference. Nice touch, especially at this price point. -Freesync is always welcome, but I have never used it due to me currently using an nVidia card with this monitor.

Cons: -When cold, my unit seems to have a stuck pixel. It always goes away when the panel warms up, or if I touch it. If you get a unit with permanent defects, don't hesitate to return it. You paid for 8294400 pixels. -It can be finicky about response times. If you use HDMI or any out-of-the-norm display settings in Windows, response times seem to suffer dramatically and noticeably. Don't use this monitor if you don't have a displayport output on your computer.

Overall Review: If you are having weird issues with response times and input lag, dig around in the menus for the monitor and make sure you're using displayport. Despite the minor software issues, I still think this monitor is well worth its price.

Great Card once under water

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 06G-P4-4995-KR 6GB SC+ GAMING w/ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling w/ Free Installed Backplate Graphics Card
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 06G-P4-4995-KR 6GB SC+ GAMING w/ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling w/ Free Installed Backplate Graphics Card

Pros: -Completely Silent -Pretty much the best possible 28nm GPU -Extremely happy under water -Backplate is sexy -EVGA is just straight up an awesome company.

Cons: For any form of stability past stock clocks, it's basically required for this thing to be water cooled. It will not maintain anything past ~1450mhz without occasional crashes on air. This is due to GPU boost dropping the voltage when it gets too close to 84C. Not a con for the average user, however. Nor is it a reason to dock an egg.

Cons: Heat spreader is a bit bland

It's memory.

G.SKILL Value Series 4GB DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9S-4GBNT

Pros: Does what memory does, not much to say.

Cons: Can there be cons for working RAM?

Overall Review: Bought it for a value workstation, provided a significant increase in productivity over when the system only had 2GB
