High performance disk
Hitachi GST Deskstar 7K1000.D HDS721010DLE630 (0F13180) 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Pros: This drive has the highest sustained read rate I have ever seen in a 7200 RPM drive. A four drive raid0 array has a sustained read rate (hdparm -t) under Linux of 680 MB/s.
Cons: None so far.

Adaptec RAID 1430SA 2241000-R SATAII PCI Express x4, 4 ports Controller Card, Single
Pros: Works with SuSE Linux 11.1/kernel 2.6.27. The Marvell chip is supported in sata_mv.
Cons: Boot is slow because card's bios can not be disabled. Card bios has catabilibilty to write data on attached disks. Adaptec support did not respond to an e-mail request for information.
Overall Review: I did not test this card with Windows.

Excellent 24 channel cable modem
NETGEAR High Speed 960Mbps Cable Modem DOCSIS® 3.0 24x8 Cable Modem (CM600)
Pros: It works. Comcast provisions 24 channels down and 3 up.
Cons: The browser interface is poorly organized. but all the information you need to know is available.

Does not appear to be iMac compatible.

Pros: None.
Cons: Does not work reliably on recent iMac running sierra 10.12.2. Disk activity light on unit is hard to see.
