Almost perfect...

Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST31000340AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive
Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST31000340AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Great SATA drive with lots of space, like many out there, as long as you don't get a DOA or lemon. But, thats the odd's game you play with hard drives.

Cons: This would have been a 5, but I dropped it to a 4 since the first one died in less than 4 hours. If you hear ANY bit of clicking from the drive, even the smallest amount, BACKUP your data and RMA (or exchange) the drive! After transfering roughly 500GB's of video data the drive started clicking, then my Intel Storage Manager began prompting me that drive failure was imminent.

Overall Review: Buyers - Please protect yourselves. Backup your data daily or weekly, and run applications that monitor your drives conditions. THIS CAN HAPPEN WITH ANY DRIVE NOT JUST THIS ONE!

Great for first 2 months...

Intel BOXDG31PR LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel BOXDG31PR LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Worked great from April 23 to June 22. 2 months? That's it? Commmoonnnn Intel! I knew it was cheap but I was expecting a death right after the 1 year warranty =)

Cons: She just died. I finaly got her to post the Intel splash screen after extensive CMOS battery clearing and BIOS jumper reset, but, she just blacks out after that. No access to BIOS, not even so much as a warning message, just blank screen as if somebody pulled the plug on the monitor.

Overall Review: I never usually take peoples word on electronics, as their is alot of people out there who "claim" to know what their talking about, however the negative ratings held justice on this one. I work for a MAJOR corporate office's MIS department, and well, I should have listened. The people were right on this.

I have no complaints...

Rosewill Brown / Gold Canal High Fidelity Passive Noise Isolating Rosewood Earbuds - RHTS-11002
Rosewill Brown / Gold Canal High Fidelity Passive Noise Isolating Rosewood Earbuds - RHTS-11002

Pros: Great highs and decent mids. I bought these as my first pair of in-earbuds to see what all the hype was about. I've had probably 10-15 different pairs of headphones, ranging from the ones that come with your phone to my Bose AE2w's. I can honestly say that the sound quality that you will get from these for the price is pretty amazingly good.

Cons: The bass isn't that great, however for the price you can look past that pretty easily. In addition, unless you are using these with some serious volume, you can hear the wire rub, it sounds like you're listing through a stethoscope. Not sure if that's true to the nature of all earbuds or not.

Overall Review: To anyone whose never had in-earbuds, I recommend watching a video on how to put them in your ears properly. Does it feel weird at first? Yes, but you get used to it fairly quickly. Is it disgusting? Absolutely, it's gross. Are you going to want to use a Q-tip even those its against medical recommendations? Without a doubt. Is it worth it? YES!

Don't do it!

D-Link Xtreme Gigabit Router (DIR-655) Wireless N300, USB SharePort, Gigabit
D-Link Xtreme Gigabit Router (DIR-655) Wireless N300, USB SharePort, Gigabit

Pros: It has gigabit WAN, which is why I bought it. My ISP is offering a 100+ Mbit/s package (which when it goes past 100 Mbit/s I want to utilize). I bought this to replace my WRT54GL which was a big MISTAKE.

Cons: It work fine in a 2-4 workstation setup. As soon as you start to hookup gigabit switches and devices, it just drops. No access to router web UI, can't even ping the gateway. The buggy firmware just drops everything like the device was not plugged in. The fix: Power cycle the router. This is highly annonying especially when your in the middle of doing something network releated. I'm sticking with my WRT54GL until Linksys comes out with an open source based router with a gigabit WAN port. (This would have been great, should I only had "a few" workstations). I tested this with 3 diffrent DIR-655's from 3 diffrent stores. Same results on each. FYI: I have 5 workstations, 4 DVR's, and 2 notebooks (that go back between WiFi and hard wire depending on usage). Average drop time anywhere from 10 minutes to 5 hours based on badwidth and link activity. Oh well, back to "Old' Reliable".

Overall Review: This really did pull in great ISP bandwidth speeds "when it worked". Average of 95 Mbit/s down and 15 Mbit/s up. I gave it a 2 egg should I decide to drop my career and have limited amounts of workstations. I mean, it "almost" worked =P

Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST31500341AS 1.5TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST31500341AS 1.5TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: I know alot of complaints have been surrounding the firmware, however since the upgrade, this drive operates like any other Seagate. Plenty of space, good performance, no complaints.

Cons: None at the moment.

Overall Review: Works great in the Coolmax HD external enclosure. Using it as a backup for my 4x500GB RAID5 setup, no problems.

Cooler Master High Performance Thermal Compound
Cooler Master High Performance Thermal Compound

Pros: It's thermal compound. It works. Is there anything really left to say?

Cons: Doesn't come off of your t-shirt easily =P

Overall Review: Nah. It works. Not much left to say.
