Pros: Things like many other closed loops: - Its a sealed close loop cooler... - keeps your CPU very cool compared to a normal fan/heatsink Diffrences: - its a 280mm close loop cooler, i know there are more 280's out their but this is a very uncommon size. but what comes with the size is a larger surface area that allows better cooling of your coolant. in turn helping to cool your cpu - and thats what this thing does... cools the hell outta your cpu - The LED RGB liquid heatsink is nice due to its color changing lights and you can turn it off if youd like. - Software (there are pros and cons). NZXT's CAM software is a great idea, it has a great sleek look too it and you can monitor CPU/GPU speeds as well as the load on many of your componenets. anddd it allows you to control the LEDs on your liquid heatsink. all in all i think its a great start and it can only be improved.
Cons: -its definetly a larger radiator... but if you have a large enough case i wouldnt worry about it. so not enough to knock off an egg. -The software needs some updating, there has been a couple times where my software stops accelerating the fans based on coolant/CPU temps. and there are some unneccessary features that i wish i could minimize. but again its a great idea and can only get better with feedback and updates. - mounting bracket on heatsink is not the best one ive seen but it does the job
Overall Review: couple of installation thoughts for you: - USE NZXT's original fans that come with the radiator. they are 4 pin and controllable to an arrange of speeds. and... there RPM's are fantastic you will really see the result on NZXT's CAM software. and if your worry about matching a color in your case... the fans are white so the will only reflect the color being shined in the case. - another thing, the mounting ring for the heatsink is... well kinda cruddy. be carefull when tightening it down. -again, all in all another awesome product by NZXT!
This Router was my savior
Pros: -outputs 3 signals!! 2.5GHZ and two 5GHz signals. this gives you an assortment of signals to spread you devices across. leaving the lower badwith signals for you slower devices and higher bandwiths for you faster ones. This basically just means that the tons of devices you have in your house will have an easier time finding a badwith to communicate on that isnt cluttered with countless other signals. in tun making the connection and speed much faster. -The device software is suprisingly easy to use and my router set up in a breeze. also... if you are a server owner, the software is amazingly easy to set up servers with. (ive done it a couple times) -outputs to a large area! will easily be able to access internet in a mansion! -The router itself is aesthetically pleasing and is definetly not an eye sore if you choose to wall mount it in public places.
Cons: just a couple cons: -you can completely tell the exterior is plastic, not weak plastic but still... its a $300.00 device. If future models id like to see an upgrade to the quality of the exterior.
Overall Review: i pay for comcasts highest internet speeds... with my original router i was getting 25mbs download and 4 upload. let me tell you also that i am a major gamer and sometimes do video streaming. once i got the nighthawk up and running... well haha... i was getting 100+ mbs download and 12+ mbs upload speeds. My modem is pretty good as well, this is another reason why i see these speeds, but my old router bottlenecked my speeds and didnt put out enough signal for all my devices. now i have no problems and live in internet paridise!
Pros: -allows for an extra fan which means more airflow and direct cooler of hard drives. SSD or Disk -3.5" Drive bay converter!!! for my case this ment that i could remove my lower 3.5" drive bay cage and add a water pump or radiator etc.
Cons: wish it had mounts for a 140mm fan. But i understand that instead of taking of three 5" bays, it would take up 4. so its not enough to take off an egg.
Overall Review: Great product, i replaced the stock fan with a corsair fan that was quiet and had better airflow. awesome if you looking to put a radiator in place of your bottom drive cage. or for a little spot to put a liquid resevior and pump.
