QA Concerns but Solid

Pros: seemingly solid build, well equipped. runs quiet, nice screen size. Good mix of ports on it including USB3, LAN, and HDMI
Cons: offset mouse pad a bit of an adjustment. Modest battery life. First device arrived with a failed install of Windows on the hard drive. Easy RMA, but wondering about the QA that let it out of the factory with a failed image on the device.
Overall Review: I would have hoped their QA process would have assured an install of Windows before shipping. Newegg cross shipped a replacement for no charge, but Lenovo could have confirmed that the hard drive was imaged before shipping. Makes me worry about other QA work.
Flame out

Pros: Small tight design. Charges well. Not too big or heavy
Cons: The small cube AC charger for the device was defective ( I hope) got fairly hot when I first used it but then noted that the next morning there was a electric burning smell in the area. USB charger outlet area had smoot on it and the device had clearly burned up internally overnight. Fortunately any flame was short lived
Overall Review: I guess any product can have a short and no harm done to the battery pack (or my house), but the smoke stains on the usb cord (which still works btw) are a litttle unsettling. Fortunately I have other wall adapters.
3 Strong

Pros: Put three of these in a Free NAS Raid 5 and all are working fine. Waiting for a special to buy a fourth
Cons: None
Overall Review: So far so good.
Everything except the internet

Pros: Plays everything well. Easy interface
Cons: Wifi set up is a pain. Using a suggested USB wifi, every time I turn it off, I have to reenter the WEP key to get it to connect and obtain a functional IP. Just upgraded the firmware and no dice.
Overall Review: I'd suggest it if you want to leave it on always or if you have LAN connection.
Great Price with State included

Pros: Given the price, I was worried that it wouldn't include the state program as indicated, but it did. Best price I could find. Downloaded and installed fine.
Cons: URL to download is really long and not active off Newegg receipt, so had to cut and paste. No Big deal
Works

Pros: Fits in and works
Cons: doesn't lock in quite as tighly as the OEM from Brother, but it works and prints.
Overall Review: half the price and works well
