Great Product! Easy to Set Up and Use!
Pros: Does the job. Good upgrade from a 1060. 1440p card.
Cons: stock shortages and inflated prices, like every GPU nowadays.
Overall Review: The experience of playing Shrek 2 through a GeForce RTX 3060 is going to get a very strong 140 FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance. But then the GeForce RTX 3060 will get a solid big screen performance at 4K, with 45 frames per second. So we expect you are likely to consider running the game in 4K or 1440p.In summary, if you are looking to play Shrek 2 in Ultra then you have come with the right graphics card. The GeForce RTX 3060 can chew through the graphical performance needs of the game with relative ease. 1080p Ultra will return 100 frames, then the larger screen resolution of 1440p can deliver 76 FPS, with the 4K resolution seeing 45 FPS in Ultra as well.
Another Win from AMD
Pros: Easy to set up, no driver issues. Packs a good punch despite being less powerful than the 6700/6800/6900 Comparable to a 5700xt from previous generation. Advertised as a "1080p" card. Which essentially means it runs all the newest games well at 1080p. Older games will perform great at 1440p, and newer ones as well but perhaps at lower graphics settings.
Cons: I hate to mention it, but needs to be done. Price. That being said, in the current market all GPUs are given a ridiculous markup so this is hardly exclusive to the 6600xt. This card will do 4k gaming, but if that is your main focus then I would recommend *shudders* spending about twice as much and getting a 6800xt.
Overall Review: If you have a 1080p monitor, no need to get a beefier card.
