MSI GT Series - 17.3" - Intel Core i7 4th Gen 4800MQ (2.70GHz) - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M - 12 GB DDR3L - 1TB HDD - Windows 8.1 64-Bit - Gaming Laptop (GT70 DominatorPro-890 )

Pros: I purchased this as a desktop replacement that would be upgradable to last a good 4 to 5 years. This first month I haven't found any real shortcomings with this machine. Well, Win8 isn't my idea of great but eventually I'm going to have to learn it. So, ehh, after some visual tweaks it's not as awful. It's even starting to grow on me a bit. Anyway back to the basics - this machine is fast to boot, runs multiple programs with ease (Word, Photoshop, Illustrator, VLC playing a movie, IE & FF - yes simultaneously). I haven't had any heat issues and haven't heard any fan noise at all. That said keep in mind that this review is based solely on more business and graphic design software and not on high end games.

Cons: None so far. I'll be sure to update if I find some.

Overall Review: I thought someone might be interested in the actual hardware in here so here is a rundown of the system as it comes. Most Critical Review

Pretty useless unless you play one of the three specific titles.

NVIDIA Free to Play Bundle
NVIDIA Free to Play Bundle

Pros: - It was free

Cons: This provides in game currency for the three selected titles ($50 for each game) and is not able to be substituted to other games. The games are "free to play" already and in at least one game the currency is only used to purchase vanity items for the players avatar. All in all, it's useless if you don't play the games and seems like just a cheap attempt to draw in players that will hopefully spend cash in game after the free currency is gone.

Overall Review: If you play the said games you may actually be able to use this. It would have been nice to get a free bonus that was able to be used on a variety of games so I could actually use it on something I'd enjoy.

Nice long cable at a good price

StarTech.com UUSBHAUB10 Black USB A to MicroUSB B Cable
StarTech.com UUSBHAUB10 Black USB A to MicroUSB B Cable

Pros: These cables are a great length and I got them on sale at a great price. I use them as extra chargers for my Android smartphone and have no complaints. Phone charges quickly enough. The cable is fairly thin and the ends are pretty firm. It fits very snugly into the ports and never falls out. This is a huge plus to me because I loath my charging cable falling out if I need to use my device while it's charging.

Cons: None that I've seen.

Overall Review: I haven't tried using it to transfer data so I am can't comment on data transfer rates (or if it's even possible).

Could have been better quality for price.

Trident Kraken AMS Green Case For Samsung Galaxy S III AMS-I9300-TG
Trident Kraken AMS Green Case For Samsung Galaxy S III AMS-I9300-TG

Pros: The case is simple to use and can be put on and taken off with ease. The color is vibrant and I like the little kick-stand feature on the back. It fits the phone snug and lines up perfectly with all the speakers, ports, and such.

Cons: The case is very rigid and somewhat flimsy. The back piece of the case fly's off if the phone is dropped and the green rubber isn't flush with the black plastic to help with impact protection. This case is more decorative than it is protective, in my opinion, so if you are looking for good protection, I'd look for an Otterbox.

Overall Review: I'm very disappointed with this case and am waiting on a replacement.

Fast shipping, easy install, and not a single problem!

Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BC1339
Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BC1339

Pros: Great price in my opinion (about 90). Was hard pressed to find it much cheaper online unless I sacrificed quality. Was shipped less than 12hours after I ordered and delivered in 2 days from the time I submitted the order (I paid for the 5.99 ups option though). Took five minutes to pop the new memory in and my laptop started right up. No trouble at all. In case you are wondering I upgraded my stock p-7805u FX from 4 to 8GB. My WEI didn't change at all but my computer was so much faster when it came to multi-tasking that I am in awe! Should have done this a long time ago! Guess it's time to upgrade the CPU now....lol

Cons: None so far!
