Green is good
Pros: It is almost as fast as Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS. Dead Silent. I have a 120 mm fan on my Hard drive bay and it runs 4 degrees C cooler that the SE16.
Cons: The only CON is New Egg on this one. It is a 5400 RPM drive.
Overall Review: I think all my drives might come from the Green line. I like not being sure it is on.
Buggy
Pros: It was free as part of a bundle and I got what I paid for.
Cons: caused my system to constantly lock up. I have been a long time user of acronis but I am done now. come to think of it, every version of true image really never worked right for me until the final release.
Overall Review: Where is the log file I could not find it. How am I supposed to know if it made a good copy or not?
It works
Pros: This version is like version 12 but it works. Kind of like windows 7 is vista that works. Windows 8 compatible (I hate windows 8) Finds NAS by itself. It has not caused my system to crash
Cons: It's not free but I really don't mind supporting a company that puts out a good product.
Overall Review: I have been an Acronis user since version 9. This is the first new version that worked well this early
It works
Pros: It is fast. I build my own computers and upgrade them 1 piece at a time. Normally, the upgrades perform only minimal performance. This is my first SSD and it the only upgrade that has impressed me this much.
Cons: It won't turn my sata II into sata III
Overall Review: Works fine on my 775/p35 board I hope it lasts as long as Samsung claims it will.
There is better RAM cheaper
Pros: This is the "approved" ram for my board.
Cons: I had to bump up the voltage to stop my system from crashing. It might advertise 1.8 but I have to run it at 2.1 to make it work.
Overall Review: If you don't have to have "the right" RAM. Buy something cheaper with a heat spreader. These are the first sticks of this brand name RAM that gave me any problems. I will continue to be a Hyper X Fan Boy. I am just happy I finally figured out how to save my CMOS to my BIOS. The only reason I bought these is because my CMOS got confused after power failures and lost my RAM settings.
Pros: It looks good and works extremely well for the price The almost eSATA addapter makes me want to buy a real eSATA card. For now it works well for me as long as I turn it on before the computer.
Cons: Fan is noisey an almost useless
Overall Review: I got this one because it had a fan and the hard drive I wanted to put in it tends to run hot. The fan did almost nothing for the drive. I had to put a different drive in it that runs cool enough to not need that LOUD fan.
