Windows 7 32 bit Success
Pros: Installed Rosewill drivers in 32 bit Windows 7. Both ports immediately functional in Command Window. (Needed for old DOS application that uses 3 printers)
Cons: None
Overall Review: Used Cables to Go Newegg part number N82E16812196220 to connect onboard paralell port of ASRock 970 Extreme 3 motherboard for the 3rd printer.
Couldn't pair
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Wouldn't Pair
Typical Sage Software
Pros: Very, very cheap, if the rebate comes through.
Cons: In typical Peachtree (Sage Software) fashion, it will not open files created with Peachtree Premium Accounting 2007, because this is a 'downgrade'. Previous version was a 'Network' version that would not install on my terminal server. Sage insisted I would have to purchase a support contract for hundreds of dollars, before they would help install it. I finally installed it on a PC and used it standalone.
Very stable Bargain RAM
Comments: CORSAIR ValueSelect RAM has become my new favorite. I've used it with P4s, Athlon XPs, & Athlon 64s, with perfect results. I haven't tried overclocking with the RAM, but it works flawlessly when used as designed.
Unstable in XP with any Driver
Comments: I purchased 22 of these CHAINTECH SLV3-128 Volari V3 128MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Cards for use in new systems built with: Foxconn 648FXMR-ES MB, 2.4 GHz 533 FSB P4, CORSAIR ValueSelect DDR 400 RAM, 420 Watt P/S. I have tried every driver I could find, including Beta. The only way I found to keep any of the systems alive for more than 20 minutes was to run with no hardware acceleration. Replacing the video cards with another brand, using another chipset resulted in a perfectly stable systems. My reccomendation: Buy something else!
