Died after 5 months, ASUS customer service virtually nonexistent
Pros: Motherboard worked fine for 4 months, now a problem with the audio jack
Cons: Motherboard continually freezes up for several seconds then goes back to working normally.
Overall Review: Motherboard worked fine for 4 months then started freezing for several seconds, several times an hour. I spoke to tech support which told me that I had a faulty motherboard. My 2 options were and RMA or advanced RMA. I chose advanced RMA since I cant be without my desktop for a month. I was then notified that they did not have any boards in stock to complete my request. Well here we are over a month later and still nothing from ASUS. I contacted them and was told that they still have no boards available to complete my RMA, and apparently I am supposed to contact them every day and spend 15-20 minutes of my time to check on the stock of the boards. So essentially it is luck of the draw whether or not I get a new board. I had read bad things about Asus customer support, but always liked their product. Well now my dislike of their customer support will always over shadow the product. If you are wise, stay away, very far away from ASUS, If you get a dud, they do nothing to help the situation.
Only lasted 4 days
Pros: Worked great for about 4 hours
Cons: Threw away the packaging and old card after this card originally worked, so Newegg wouldn't give an RMA. Sent it in through a third party for manufacturers RMA and have been told that it could take up to 4 weeks for a replacement.
Overall Review: 4 weeks for a replacement is unacceptable. Don't waste your time with this company, the cheaper price isn't worth the headache that it brings.
Terrible shipping
I paid extra for 3 day shipping. The item presumably sat in the warehouse before being shipped. 10 business days my package arrived. Not acceptable.
