CPU bargain of the year

Pros: Good price, incredible overclocking ability
Cons: Factory supplied heatsink
Overall Review: The factory heatsink is passable for mild overclocking if it is used with a good interface matertal such as arctic silver instead of the factory supplied pad. I have mine running at 3.2 GHZ with an idling temp around 42C & a max temp of around 55C
Failed too soon

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Power supply failed after less than 2 years of service. The 5 volt standby curcuit in the power supply stopped working, unable to start the computer.
Overall Review: Instead of spending an extra $xx for the extended warranty, buy a better quality power supply. I salvaged the cooling fan out of the power supply
Excellent Product

Pros: I purchased one of these units back in 2006 and it is still working. The range is phenominal. I lent the unit to one of my neighbors who is still waiting for the cable company to hook up their internet service. It is over 150 feet away from my router and it still gets a signal strength reading of 44%
Cons: None
Overall Review: None
Not as Advertised

Pros: Well constructed, improvement ove the 4670 it replaced
Cons: GPU-Z from techpowerup indicates that the bus width is 128 bits instead of the advertised 256 bit width. If this board used Gddr3 instead of Gddr5 memory it would probably be slower than the 4850
Overall Review: The GPU chip used on this board is a Wekiva RV790GT, which is a stripped down version of the RV790
HOT! HOT! HOT!

Pros: Good set of features, including esata
Cons: Northbridge cooling is inadequate, I could not touch the heatsink for more than 2 seconds without getting my finger burned. The problem was solved by ordering a Thermaltake northbridge cooler.
Overall Review: A bios update may be necessary before installing a phenom 9850.
