The best case I ever had

LIAN LI PC-60BPLUSII Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI PC-60BPLUSII Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Very light I don’t even think its 10 lbs. Stays cool. Easy access and removal of components (Power supply and motherboard can be installed conventionally or slid in from the rear). Bright blue and red LED lights. Very quiet fans.

Cons: The reset button doesn’t stick out far enough. The usb/audio/1394 cover seems a little weak. (I could be wrong; I haven’t managed to break it yet.) Finger prints show up very easily, but can be wiped off easily with a dry cloth or towel. I would suggest getting extra thumb screws, mine only had one extra.

Overall Review: This case is actually aluminum. Almost any part can easily be removed with thumb screws. The face pops off with a simple pull from bottom. My HDD coolers were hard to install, but I did get them in. The description provided by neweegg the exactly what it is (except that its aluminum). This case looks very nice without making people thing your computer was made by aliens. For more reviews there is also a silver version newegg is offering (PC-60APLUSII). I saw it but got this one as soon as it was available. Overclockers will love this case. It vents almost all heat from components and absorbs the rest like a big heat sink. And if you have some crazy big cooling system over your processor the heat duct can be completely removed. This was worth the money.

Power Adapter

macally HUB - UF USB2.0 and FireWire Hub
macally HUB - UF USB2.0 and FireWire Hub

Pros: Reliable

Cons: Onlyn one device can be used with out power adapter.

Overall Review: I purchaced one of these a few months ago. During my move I lost the power adapter. There are no markings on the hub or description anywhere on the internet for the power requirements to replace the adapter. I dont want to risk pluging any power adapter into this thing so its just a USB extension for me now.

Kingston FURY Renegade M.2 2280 4TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe 3D TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SFYRD/4000G

Pros: Fast Large capacity

Cons: Expensive

Overall Review: This works great in my PS5. It seems like games load faster from this than the built in drive it came with. If you have the money for a one-time PS5 upgrade, then this is worth it.

SONY VAIO FW Series 16.4" Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 4GB Memory DDR2 800 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Pros: This computer is very quiet and runs very cool. It has built in blue tooth and Wi-Fi. I use it with a wireless mouse and am able to tether internet from my phone. It boots very fast and does not struggle to run any game I have loaded onto it with moderate graphic settings. The HDMI can be used to connect this laptop to any HDTV for sound and picture. I especially like the keyboard stroke. Some laptop just take a normal keyboard and reduce the profile of the keys. This one has very distinct spacing between the keys.

Cons: USB ports located on right side. When using a wired mouse on a small surface this can be a pain. The screen is not sealed. Somehow I got a hair behind it and its not worth the risk to take the screen art to remove it. The power button enclosure is not very solid and will come lose, not to the extent where it will hang lose or fall out, but it will not sit properly where it is meant to be.

Overall Review: I use the remote feature to control my PS3 on occasion via the internet. I haven't been able to find any compatible parts to upgrade this, but that's pretty much what I expect with most laptops. I have yet to run into any serious issues with the software or hardware. This machine is ideal for anyone who needs a computer to travel with or plans on using it for school.

Overall shape

Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Black and Play & Charge Kit
Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Black and Play & Charge Kit

Pros: Triggers and analog sticks are shaped into a non-slip design. The controller is easy to grasp.

Cons: Asymmetrical joystick layout. The D-pad is possibly the worst to ever be placed on any console controller. There were controllers made in the 90's with better sticks.

Overall Review: After XBox was patched to disallow the use of all 3rd party controllers except one company, it kind of limits choice to this one or the other. So either buy this one or the the other if you want to play 360.

My experience

Tripp Lite AVR900U AVR Series 900 VA 480 Watts 12 Outlets Line Interactive UPS for PCs
Tripp Lite AVR900U AVR Series 900 VA 480 Watts 12 Outlets Line Interactive UPS for PCs

Pros: This UPS can connect to a single computer via USB. During a power outage the battery can notify the computer when its battery is low so the OS can begin a proper shutdown. This is good feature in the event there is nobody around when the power goes out.

Cons: This thing is supposed to avoid sudden power disconnects. If the USB is connected and your OS is not communicating with it, the circuit breaker will trip all ports including the battery powered ones. I found this out while I was in my BIOS screen. So if you do not have Windows already running, do not leave the USB cord connected to it. The second issue is that it came with no software. I had to go directly to the manufacturer site to find it. Once I was there, I found more than one choice and quickly became confused as to which one to download. I guess I got lucky because it runs properly.
