Review Update
Pros: None
Cons: Returned item due to defective PCIE slot and defective retention bracket for CPU socket. Newegg is claiming that the CPU pins where bent, and so they cannot honor the refund. I now have to deal with ASRock for a refund/replacement. I would be very hesitant buying this card as there are numerous reports of socket issues. I have built/installed 4 computers over the last 6-7 years and never had any issues until now. I am confident that I did not bend the pins in the socket, but that doesn't matter as once Newegg claims there is damage, there is nothing you can do. Be sure to be very careful when installing the CPU, otherwise you will end up like me very unhappy and out ~$125.
Very Poor Lifespan
Pros: Installation was fairly easy. Kept CPU cool while it worked.
Cons: The radiator pump has an incredibly short lifespan. Mine died after 7 months of moderate use. Apparently powering the computer on and off frequently can lead to issues. Read the Corsair forums for these closed loop liquid cooling solutions. Wish I had before I bought this.
Overall Review: I had bought this to cool an i7 6700k, which I planned to moderately overclock. In hindsight, given I was only looking to do moderate overclocking, I should have went with the gold standard Hyper 212 Evo, which is both cheaper and won't have the lifespan issues this H80i GT has.
