Mostest perfectest case ever...est

Thermaltake Tsunami VA3000BWA Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake Tsunami VA3000BWA Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Tooless installation of all components (save the mobo and PSU), rounded edges (no cuts!), awesome blue LEDs, solid construction, LIGHTWEIGHT, excellent ventilation, envious looks from everyone else with a plain-as-cardboard tower

Cons: The cover for the upper USB/Firewire connector area could be made of something other than plastic...

Overall Review: I debated on this case for a while, finally giving it a go after reading all of the positive reviews. I was totally blown away by this case. I enjoyed playing with the tower during installation, discovering one nifty feature after another. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this item is. P.S. the mirror-coating finish looks exceptionally suave.

Not quite what I expected

ADATA 16GB Class 6 Micro SDHC Flash Card Model MicroSDHC CL6 16G Card
ADATA 16GB Class 6 Micro SDHC Flash Card Model MicroSDHC CL6 16G Card

Pros: 16 GB of space for my Droid, decent price.

Cons: It performs exactly like the Class 2 card it replaced...what gives? Tested at 1.8-2.2 MB/s for straight transfers to the device, not the 6 MB/s it *is* rated at. Big let down as I purchased it specifically for its higher speed.

Overall Review: Seems good except for the lackluster performance.

Truly exceptional

OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2N1000SR4GK
OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2N1000SR4GK

Pros: Exceptional RAM, not a single problem (yet). This was my first OCZ purchase, so I think I'll be springing for another 4 GB in the near future :) I've been able to OC this badboys to 600 MHz (DDR2 1200) without a hitch, pushing for 666 MHz (DDR2 1333) soon.

Cons: My eVGA 750i F_T_W mobo seems to think that this RAM should run at 1.8V...causes stuttering, so double check your settings after installing. (Hahah Newegg rejected For The Win, the mobo's actual product name!)

Overall Review: Standard: + Solid quality item + Super fast shipping + Newegg gives me warm fuzzies

Love it, does not respond well to water

Saitek PZ30AU 104 Normal Keys 4 Function Keys USB Wired Standard Eclipse Blue Backlit Keyboard
Saitek PZ30AU 104 Normal Keys 4 Function Keys USB Wired Standard Eclipse Blue Backlit Keyboard

Pros: Backlit keys were perfect for gaming in low lighting, key response was spot-on perfect, also a great all-around feel.

Cons: I don't know if it's a valid drawback...but no amount of drying after a small spill of water would bring my keyboard back from the land of the dead. Other keyboards I've used have recovered from such mishaps.

Overall Review: I liked it so much that I'm ordering another one. I'm darn picky too!

Meh

GIGABYTE GA-P35-S3G LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-P35-S3G LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Had most of the features that I was looking for.

Cons: DOA. Haven't had a DOA board in years...

Overall Review: Maybe a stroke of bad luck? Now I am beginning to wonder why it was such a low price at the time of purchase...

No Vista 64-bit support

ZyXEL G-202 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
ZyXEL G-202 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Same as my first review, a solid USB wireless adapter.

Cons: ZyXel has no intentions of creating or supporting Vista 64-bit drivers at this point. Considering that the OS has been out for almost four months, that's pretty ridiculous. The company website says that their driver support Vista, however they neglect to mention that they are referring to the 32-bit version! Buyer beware!

Overall Review: Still like it. I'm holding out for 64-bit drivers...
