Corsair 1600

Pros: These DDR3 memories tested out at right around DDR3-1670 or so. I was hoping for a little higher but they do meet their specs. I had previously purchased some Corsair DDR3-1333 (from Newegg) and they tested out at around DDR3-1720 or so and I was hoping for a similar increase. I am still perfectly happy with this memory, it works well in my new system.
Cons: None really, it clocks higher than the specs call for.
Overall Review: As always, Newegg got the products out to me very quickly as possible.
evga 9800 gtx+

Pros: A really good board that gives me max resolution for everything that I want to do while running Folding@Home-GPU and earning 4800+ points per day depending on the work unit.
Cons: It is not really a con but it reuires 2-6 pin plugs for power.
Overall Review: I have two of these (both from Newegg) and haven't had a bit of trouble with either one. They are large boards that require a quite a bit of power but produce a good display on my 24" monitor.
WDC 6400 AAKS Internal Drives

Pros: I bought 4 of these drives and hooked them up as Raid10 on a new Gigabyte-GA-EX8-Extreme motherboard (purchased from Newegg). First did an image backup of the original system using Acronis TrueImage Home 2009 backup , defined the raid array, and then restored the Acronis backup. Altogether it took about 3-4 hours and it worked like a champ.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Raid 10 gives mirroring for safety and striping for speed, but it does cost the capacity of two drives.
8 gb USB2.0 Flash drive

Pros: Works as it should. Vista wants to use it as a cached device whenever I plug it into a Vista system. Seems pretty quick but I haven't done any tests with it.
Cons: The cap comes completely off and eventually I am afraid that I am going to lose it.
Overall Review: Nice, small, fairly cheap, small little USB 2.0 8.0 gb drive. Can't ask for much more that that.
Vigor Monsoon III Socket 1366 Cooler

Pros: Replaced the stock I7-920 cooler with this one and dropped the Intel Burn Tests temps by 26 degrees C, from 97 to 71. Now the cores run at about 55-60 C under 100 % load from Folding@Home. They used to run at around 75-80 C depending what else was going on.
Cons: So far there are no cons.
Overall Review: Pretty quiet, even with 2 fans on it. It also comes with a back plate, no more push pins, and enough extra hardware is included so that it can be mounted on a variety of other processors.
