Solid Unit Makes Me Happy :D
Pros: This is an amazing router. Its quick, reliable, and has a featureset that can not only handle basic needs, but more complex needs as well. Even though the interface has Buffalo branding on it, it is the same DD-WRT you normally see with the same features it normally has. It has amazing QOS and has the ability to limit upstream/downstream speed by MAC address which is extremely useful when your housemate is too lazy (or stupid) to limit bandwidth hogging P2P services.
Cons: I had to reset the unit when I first got it because when I would go into the admin section of the router via LAN, it was painstakingly slow. Once I performed a reset on the unit, that problem went away, but as it did require that, I am rating it 4 stars instead of 5.
Overall Review: You can't use the DD-WRT pro version with this router.
Don't Buy This
Pros: Packaged with a USB extension base/holder.
Cons: -Drops packets like crazy. -Drivers are REALLY bad. -Install with latest drivers does not fix the problem.
Overall Review: I'd rather get a straight up refund or be swapped to a PCIe WiFI card that isn't terrible. I ended up switching to a Buffalo USB adapter that has been amazing while my ASUS literally just collects dust on my desk.
