It works, but not much info on this MB

ASUS F1A75-M FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
ASUS F1A75-M FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: UEFI, future proof. Mem-OK is a life saving, I use it on Corsair CML16GX3M4A1600C9 16GB (4x 4GB) modules to get them to work. Works on A6-3500

Cons: The list of supported CPU and memory isn't much, not very useful. But even though the CPU and memory isn't on the list, doesn't mean it won't work. It's not true 2 PCI-e x16 ports. (not tested) The manufacturer website will say the slots are x16 but only one is x16 and the other is x4. So, I'm guessing this is an error on Newegg part. Still people should be warn and -1 point reflect that.

Overall Review: Read the (insert your connotation here) manual. Seriously, like Mem-OK feature, it can save your time, and hours of pain trying to figure out why won't your system boot.

Deceptive specification.

CORSAIR Vengeance LP 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML16GX3M4A1600C9
CORSAIR Vengeance LP 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML16GX3M4A1600C9

Pros: It work, it very work (w/ a caveat and that's why one point off). Low voltage 1.5v. DDR3 1600 actually work(but it's consider supported OC) Cheap, not the cheapest but pretty cheap w/o the hassle of MIR.

Cons: DDR3 1333, that's what it very is by default. If visit the manufacturer website, it will say 1600 is supported but it's not very by default. This will create some problem with certain motherboard if not careful.

Overall Review: I tried it on ASUS F1A75-M board and it won't POST, but luckily the MB has Mem-OK feature and it took a few tried to get it to POST. After a few tweak, I got it to work reliable at 1600, ran the latest memtest86+ v4.20 over night w/o problem, completed 2 passes on all 16GB (4x 4GB) banks. Cannot recommend this for people who don't have a work around, or MB that doesn't have any manual tweak.

Decently powerful and quiet

AMD A6-3500 - A-Series APU (CPU + GPU) Llano Triple-Core 2.1GHz (2.4GHz Max Turbo) Socket FM1 65W AMD Radeon HD 6530D Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic - AD3500OJGXBOX
AMD A6-3500 - A-Series APU (CPU + GPU) Llano Triple-Core 2.1GHz (2.4GHz Max Turbo) Socket FM1 65W AMD Radeon HD 6530D Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic - AD3500OJGXBOX

Pros: Price, not too expensive. Decent GPU. It's not the best, but it help not having to spend extra bucks just to get decent GPU that support video decoding and light gaming. Better than Intel GPU anyway. Running cool and quiet(retail fan).

Cons: It's no quad core.

Overall Review: Built for standalone light gaming and HTPC. I would have brought A6-3600 Quad Core w/ 65W TDP for slightly more, but Newegg doesn't sell one.

Work pretty well

XIGMATEK CCA-EMFCB-U01 4 in 3 HDD Cage Extra Hard Drive Bay
XIGMATEK CCA-EMFCB-U01 4 in 3 HDD Cage Extra Hard Drive Bay

Pros: Relatively inexpensive (compared to the hot-swappable one) Sturdy Fan not too loud. I got 2 of this in the case and I can't hear it after about 10 feet away. At 5 feet it's audio though. Still not bad for HTPC built.

Cons: Not dead silent compared to other 120mm fan. The rubber to keep harddrive from vibrate can get loose, just be aware.

Overall Review: Only 4 drives in a cage, some people may say mounting side way is not ideal, but for some people having 5 drives will save space.

Cooler Master Centurion 590 RC-590-KKN1-GP Black SECC / ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Cooler Master Centurion 590 RC-590-KKN1-GP Black SECC / ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case allow a good air flow, 2x120mm fan and couple w/ good power supply(CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX) I don't need extra fan. The build is solid and doesn't feel cheap or too heavy. The case fan is VERY quiet. Actually all the fans (case+PSU+stock E2180) are pretty quiet. The whole system is a lot more silent than my Via C7 (Jetway J7F2WE-1G 1GHz) that I use as a Linux PDC server.

Cons: For what I use it for, absolutely nothing to complain about.

Overall Review: Sorry, I didn't buy this off the newegg, but the local store is cheaper, if including shipping it will cost me like $30 more. I brought this chassis to host my Abit AB9 and E2180 as a file server. And it does it job very well. The only problem for me is the LED light on the front 120mm fan is a bit too bright at night time, so I swap with the back fan for now. I might even replace it later.

ABIT AB9 Pro LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard
ABIT AB9 Pro LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Plenty of ports for a good low price. Reliable, run cool and quiet.

Cons: Abit site show this product as discontinue, so this may be a problem as future unfold. It could mean no more bios update and no more new CPU support. The BIOS doesn't have boot menu, where you can select boot device after POST w/o going into BIOS. And that's a big point reduction for me.

Overall Review: I brought this board along w/ E2180 to build it as a file server. And it's perfect for it. 9 SATA ports and 1 eSATA. It's made for a file server. I have it ran 24/7 for a few days now w/o any problem.
