Pros: Wow, I did not know investing back into a hardware nic would be the best thing to help my wireless internet connection. I was using different usb adapters, and they work but signals would constantly drop, and I would frequently have spotty connections with my devices.
Purchasing this is a life saver. My wireless connections are much stronger. I was able to use a wireless device that had me stumped for a while. If you have a desktop and should get out of using usb adapters this card is to get. Invest in this product.
Cons: I like using all three of the antenna's, but they stick out none the less, so awareness you could cause damage to your system if they were hit, knock on...... Also the placement of where you would insert the card. With the antenna's it could bump into the monitor cables, usb etc....
Overall Review: The card does look sweet with the black heat sink.
Pros: 2GB RAM, 25W TDP, 384 CUDA CORES,SILENT. This card is an excellent value if you know what your looking for. This card is a steal actually. If you do your research this card has 384/32/8 configuration. This does help with performance. Also with just 25w tdp this can be used as an excellent Physx add on card.
Cons: The memory bandwith is very limited, but some things are sacrificed to get a card with performance with only 25w tdp.
Overall Review: I use this video card with a 32" LCD TV with a native resolution of 1360x768. The native resolution doesn't tax the video card and the only sacrifice really in games is anti-aliasing because of the memory bandwith limitation.
When playing games you will never notice the difference between 8x pci-e vs 16x pci-e. Anyone concerned about that shouldn't be looking for a card like this.
Pros: Inexpensive, Zune player, simple interface, slide out qwerty keyboard. The phone is solidly built. It is much smaller than what I anticipated.
Cons: A little on the heavy side. I knew it would be heavy but not this heavy it does have some weight. Also I am not a big fan of on screen keyboards especially with a screen this small. Couldn't get the phone to update to the 7.8 release which is mostly cosmetic, but maybe something will happen down the road.
Overall Review: I wanted a windows phone since I'm mostly in the windows ecosystem. Can't really go wrong with a 1st gen product for this price. Win Ph 8 doesn't seem to have too much more than the current Win Ph 7. I didn't want to re-up w/my current carrier for a smart phone just for win ph 8 when I can go the pre-paid route pay half of what I would pay monthly on a contract and in a few years see where windows phone ecosystem is at.
Pros: Got it for $60,NewEgg Rocks!
Cons: Tried to install this on a bad hd didn't realize that, so I can't knock the product. It did install flawlessly on two other pc's I have. A laptop and a regular desktop. I am not a big fan of the start button anyway so I don't really get the complaints.
Overall Review: I don't really get the tile Metro interface. If you use the Netflix app you can't use Netflix in your browser from the desktop. I keep getting a drm issue. I kind of feel like this it two os's in one but designed for touch screens. If you want apps then go for it, but if your looking for the normal desktop experience stick with Windows 7.
Pros: Got this board because I wanted sli and move my gaming from socket 775. The performance definitely improved. It is a good looking board. I got the board on sale with a $20 rebate and the check came in a couple weeks.
Cons: These are my own personal quirks, so maybe it desrves 5 stars but I wish there were a bios update for Ivy Bridge. I got an older P67 that has a bios for that, and this chipset is newer. I now wish I would of gotten the full atx mobo because of the full length pci-e 4x for a dedicated physx.
Overall Review: Celeron G530
4 gigs ddr3
2-440gt oem's sli
Corsair 460 psu
Pros: $70 hey the price was right. I flashed the tablet with a better rom "macho" and it helped the performance. I wouldn't pay more than the $70 bucks for this reader/tablet. I just wanted to start reading more books. Also this will look good as an alarm clock. Mobile websites seem to work best with the bigger screen than on a smart phone.
Cons: $70 you get what you pay for. Very limited with apps. Android market doesn't work. Couldn't load any emulators or play games. Does have some weight to it. Didn't get a dock with it. Had to wait a little longer for shipping. Recommend a stylus or pen using your finger is pointless with it being resistive touch.
Overall Review: Android is so fragmented. I have had high end smart phones and lower end. I would recommend this tablet to someone who either wants to root it or simply use it as a reader. At least the Kindle app works, but it does seem a little sluggish when reading books. The hardware specs aren't the greatest.
Pros: Inexpensive I bought this power supply in August of 2009 I did not realize that I had this psu for that long. The only reason why I'm writing this review is because I couldn't even remember what the name brand of this psu was until I looked in my order history. Honestly paying $25 bucks and never having a problem being almost two years. I think I got my money's worth. I have paid up towards $200 for some psu's and they fried when I did mobo swaps both name brands, and I don't think I even got two years out of those.
Cons: Wish it was modular. Kind of hard with all the wires putting it in micro-atx case. Since I leave my pc on all the time I will be eventually looking for a psu that is more energy efficient, but that is the only reason why I will get another psu. This will become a reliable back up, especially if I need to build another pc on the fly.
Overall Review: I have two video cards that don't need power connectors a 9800gt green and a low profile gt240 for physx and I have never had a problem with this psu and I game pretty hard at times. I have used at gts450 and a Radeon 5750, so I'm pretty confident it can handle most main stream videocards. Also have 2 hard drives, and a blu-ray player. Good luck if you decide to buy.
Pros: ITS JAMES BOND. THIS INSTALLMENT IS DEFINITELY A STEP ABOVE QS. THE GAME PLAY ISN'T AS REPETITIVE AS QS. THE STORY LINE IS GREAT HOPE THEY MAKE IT INTO AN ACTUAL MOVIE. DIFFERENT LOCATIONS AND GREAT CHASE SCENES MIX UP THE ACTION.
Cons: WISH IT WAS A LITTLE BIT LONGER ABOUT 6-8 HRS OF GAME PLAY. I DON'T DO MULTI-PLAYER SO YOU COULD PROBABLY GET MORE FROM THAT AS WELL.
Overall Review: THIS IS A DECENT GAME. I WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING IT FOR A LITTLE LOWER PRICE IF IT GOES ON SALE, BUT STILL WORTH THE VALUE IF YOUR A BIG JAMES BOND FAN! AND NEWEGG ROCKS AS USUAL.!
Pros: Inexpensive, portable, bluetooth. Has many features none that I need except for the portability of the speaker.
Cons: The sound was louder than the speakers on my phone, but not as loud as I thought it was going to be.
Overall Review: This device retailed for $100 Newegg rocks as usual and for $30 I do get the portability of having speakers when I listen to Pandora and Internet Radio.
Pros: This phone is a great deal. Now it is only $70 with free shipping. The Webos is very intuitive. The phone has a solid feel. The web browsing is the best I have seen in a smartphone and it doesn't even have flash. Has a few good free popular apps.
Cons: There won't be any current updates to webos 1.4.5. The phone is small and so is the screen. It can be a little cumbersome when using the keyboard to type. I also wish the usb/power connector could at the bottom of the phone instead of on the side. It makes it kind of annoying to hold when it is plugged in. There aren't very many apps for webos 1.4.5. I'm knocking 1 egg mainly because of no future possible updates to webos 1.4.5.
Overall Review: Even with the small selection of apps. I did find some free ones that were similar with another android phone that I have. I feel personally android can be a little over rated especially if you can't get an upgrade over eclair. For webos to be that intuitive and on this small device I think you will be very surprise at how well the Pixi multitasks.
Pros: great price,i bought the ha-rx500 and after listening with those i wanted more so i splurged for these. can't believe the price for these jvc headphones.
Cons: these are more than what my puter can handle, got an old audigy 4 and i really need to upgrade that card, but that means more money.the ha-rx500 are best for my system, these pair you definitely much more power.
Overall Review: I now have two sweet pair of headphones and only for around $65 bucks.
Pros: price is decent, the only thing that i can tell with the recertified is that the fans on these were bad, the card runs really cool, got this because the gts 450 i had ran way too hot. doesnt need to powered by plug in. single slot
Cons: this is an old school card and it is actually an 8800gt it has the 65nm gpu, so performance is a little to be desired, i wonder moving forward for gaming will the dx 10 suffer somewhat in newer games?
Overall Review: for $70 you can still get good gaming and if you want a single slot card this is the cheapest nvidia solution i could find that isnt a gt240.
Pros: price, these headphones are absolutely sick, i cant believe the price, i had the sen hd202 and those died after 2 yrs so i wanted to try something else, read all the reviews and you cant go wrong with these, i eve purchased the ha-rx700 just to see how can headphones be that better and still for the price your getting a better deal then those suppose higher end models.
Cons: i wish the cord was a little thicker, and you can tell there light weight because of the plastic that is why i purchased the rx700 and also for the 50mm magnet which i can only imagine sound sweet! newegg just rocks period im going to go in debt because of this place deals are just too good!
Overall Review: i have purchased many headphones but never realized how good music, movies and games could sound until i got these, im not an audio expert but for the average consumer you cant go wrong with these head phones, trust me you wont be disappointed. i almost feel like im robbing newegg.
Pros: Low profile, can fit in my small case.
Cons: Card runs extremely hot! I mean too hot to touch. I figure maybe because it is a low profile card. It is a dual slot cooler, but still it is too hot. I would recommend either lowering the engine clock or getting a after market cooler or a gts 450 that already has better cooling. Nvidia speced this card pretty high, you figure low profile cards should have lower clocks.
Overall Review: I spent the money figuring for $130 just get a next generation card. I looked at the old gts 250 and 9800gt but I figured for $10-$20 dollars more. Also you have to think when gtx 260 came out look at what Nvidia was asking $400 for a 192sp/cuda card; now you can get it for $129 and direct x 11.
Pros: price, surprised at how much better the cooling is for my gt 240. This was much better than the stock cooling that came on the card. The engine clock is only at 450mhz because of the card being low profile. I can overclock to 600mhz easily and this heat sink helps a lot with that. Did I mention it is silent too!
Cons: Does take up more space in my already cramped case.
Pros: LOW PROFILE,LOW WATTAGE
Cons: PRICEY, NOT A POWERFUL GAMING CARD, IT CAN DO SOME GAMING BUT AT LOWER RESOLUTIONS.
Overall Review: I GOT THIS CARD FOR DEDICATED PHYSX. IT MANAGED TO ADD ABOUT 5 FPS WITH MY 9600GSO. BASICALLY YOU NEED A MUCH BETTER PERFORMING CARD THAN A 9600GSO TO UTILIZE THIS CARD FOR PHYSX. I'M NOT GOING TO KNOCK EGGS OFF BECAUSE OF PERFORMANCE. I KNEW WHAT I WAS GETTING INTO WITH THIS CARD.
Pros: $8 BUCKS, GOOD STORY LINE, CAN'T EXPECT TOO MUCH NOW A DAYS WITH PC GAMES. I MEAN GAMES ARE MADE FOR CONSOLES FIRST THEN PC 2ND, BUT FOR EIGHT BUCKS YOU GET ABOUT 10 HRS GAME PLAY.
Cons: NONE THAT I CAN THINK OF, AGAIN I ONLY PAID $8 BUCKS FOR THE GAME SO I CAN'T COMPLAIN.
Pros: Getting this phone was a life saver. I was up for a upgrade but didn't want to get stuck with another 2 year contract obligation. I wanted a phone that will give my more features especially better web browsing. This phone fits the bill. Newegg rocks as usual.
Cons: $200 dollar price tag, but considering I would have paid that much or more with my current carrier for a new phone and be stuck with the contract again. It doesn't seem that bad. Besides now if you break contracts you can be looking at the $350 penalty now for phones with more features. Which seem like a necessity these days.
Overall Review: I'm not a big fan of the touch screens, but this is were technology is going. Can be kind of cumbersome when trying to text. I prefer to use the qwerty keyboard.
Pros: EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. LIKE THE FACT THAT IT CAN BE CLEANED.
Cons: TYPING CAN TAKE SOME TIME GETTING USE TO. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE A HEAVY TYPER. I ONLY NEED TO PLAY THE FEW PC GAMES I HAVE. WORKS GREAT FOR MY SETUP IN SAVING ME SOME SPACE.
Pros: $5 BUCKS NEWEGG ROCKS
Cons: THE SAVE SYSTEM OF GAMES NOW A DAYS IS BRUTAL. ANY TIME YOU WANT TO STOP YOUR PLAY YOU EITHER HAVE TO FINISH THE LEVEL YOUR ON OR START FROM THE BEGINNING.
CONTROLING YOUR SQUAD CAN BE FRUSTRATING AT TIMES.
Overall Review: GAMES ARE MADE FOR CONSOLES NOW AND THEN PC'S SECOND. BACK IN THE DAY IT USE TO BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
Pros: $18 BUCKS NEWEGG ROCKS
Cons: SAVE SYSTEM
Cons: RAN OUT OF STOCK AT $69.99 OTHERWISE WOULD OF BOUGHT A SECOND EVEN THOUGH I DON'T EVEN HAVE A CROSSFIRE BOARD. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT WAS A PRICING MISTAKE, BUT FOR $69.99 I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE. THIS CARD WILL NEVER BE PRICED LIKE THIS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall Review: $69.99
Pros: $10, Very challenging, puzzles can be a lot fun. Great atmosphere.
Cons: No saves. Once you turn off the game you will start at that chapters beginning. If you die during your chapter you can start pretty close to were you were, but if you quit playing you start from the beginning of the whole chapter,so if you get stumped by a puzzle or jump. I recommend try to finish, but if your thumbs are brutally sore from playing. Just realize you'll start from the beginning which can be awfully frustrating after all the work you put in to progress through the level.
Overall Review: The gun fighting can be pretty annoying. With all the challenges of the jumps adding the shooting just doesn't feel necessary at times. I sometimes think that with the lack of a save and adding in the gun fighting. The game gets artificially extended.Just kind of makes me wonder why games have these annoyances. This game was already fun without the stupid fighting. It reminds me a little of portal.
Pros: New Egg Rocks!!! $9 bucks. I started the original Butchers Bay on the old Xbox, so I wanted to finish the game. The new graphic enhancements are great. The voice acting is superb.
Cons: I would recommend this game for the Butcher Bay. I started the Dark Athena and it feels somewhat of a let down. Maybe play the Dark Athena first then the Butcher Bay.
Pros: It works and in-expensive.
Cons: The quality feels a little flemsy, but you get what you pay for.
Overall Review: Needed a second hdmi cable for my console. Didn't want to break the bank for one.
