CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400

Pros: Just great, everything you've already read, or should read..

Cons: quite expensive. I bought, slightly before Core 2 and socket am2 for AMD. so the price was subsantially lower, with a hefty rebate.

Overall Review: soo, people with the 500 series chipsets on gigabyte boards... when you first boot up, the RAM will probaby be set to 5-5-5-18 with 1.8v i made the mistake of setting to 5-5-5-12, without raising the voltage to 1.9v. my comp kept crashing during the format while installing windows. so save yourself the time, frustation, or maybe even RMA'ing the sticks or mobo cause i think they're bad. remember 1.9v!!! i run the GA-59SLI-S5 board, flawless with these sticks. Also on these gigabyte boards, you can only access the advanced setting through some key combo like Crtl + F1, im not exactly sure, but you can look it up in your manuel. my friends has the same sticks but with a GA-57SLI-S4, his sticks ran at 667, so, just do some similar stuff and adjust RAM clock, and you should be good to go P.S. if you are putting together your own computer, you really should know this stuff already.... but for first timers, or just not as experienced, here you go... good luck, NICE RAM

Love it

ZyXEL X-550 Xtreme MIMO Wireless Broadband Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g

Pros: Nice strong signal, pairs good with a M-302 just all around goodness, easy setup, any computer in the network can access and change settings with the admin pass..

Cons: Feels cheap, very light, even my noob dad said it felt cheap, o well, does the job exceptionally

Overall Review: Like I said, nice with a M-302, even though I don't think the M-302 supports WPA2, just one.. Highly recommended, easy for my first wireless experience!

So awesome

Cooler Master Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW Black Aluminum Bezel , SECC Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Well most everything stated in other reviews, just all out great, not ugly, cheap (price), and cools like some 150 dollar cases Ive had expericence with 80mm fan right in front of harddrives.. Just excellent, I love this case

Cons: A little small... it'll fit a 8800GTX, but not my much, selective placing of the hardrive will be nessicary..The new Top end Radeon r600 is said to have a 12" PCB, others are slightly smaller, so I'll have to measure the space in the case for graphics again. sorry I don't have the measurement now. Dust collects in the front a little.. and space for cords of a loaded nonmodular powersupply is a little cramped or unorganized, but do-able.

Overall Review: Keeps my Athlon x2 4600+ 19-23C idle, and around 42ish load, ON STOCK COOLING, overclocking has very little impact on my CPU temp aswell, This case really brings out the best of my stock cooling, I took of the funnel tube on the side airvent. Ambient Case temps 26C and 7900GT @ 572/770 idles 45-50C, and load 65, a little high cause of my overclock, @ stock its substantially cooler, also stock cooling. Gigabyte GA-59SLI-S5 motherboard (very nice, IMO top 2 590 boards besides the crosshair) 2GB Corsiar DDR2-800 I love this case, get it, it rocks

O YA!

AMD Athlon 64 FX-57 - Athlon 64 FX San Diego Single-Core 2.8 GHz Socket 939 104W Processor - ADAFX57BNBOX

Pros: BEST SINGLE CORE ON THE MARKET!!!

Cons: Last of a dying breed

Overall Review: I would suspect it performs better is most of not all games then most Athlon x2 chips..... I have a 4600+ wich is basically 2 3800+ single cores. I see no drop in games when setting my afinity to single core, on most any of my games, most of the popular reccents, Oblivion F.E.A.R. and others. So this thing is a gaming mosnter while games don't truley excell from dual core yet... GET IT IF U HAVE 939 and dont need/want/have the money. for a dual-core FX-60....

GREAT

CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400

Pros: EXcellet sticks, the pair I got, overclocks great at 1.9V 5-5-5-12, the limiting factor in my overclocking is NOT these sticks.

Cons: HM, nothing really, I mean there are better sticks, but for what these are, they are great! Warm to the touch? yeah.. Really a CON? I don't think so....

Overall Review: Well.. Excellect sticks, and the next level up from these from Corsair are 4-4-4-12 with a CAS latency of 4, very very little difference in speed, on Identical systems, almost nothing in games, and a couple more seconds in video encoding and such, but really, only a couple more seconds, Check the dominator article on TOMS. Dominators vs. These and the step up from these...
