Great Case, but NO FAN SCREWS!!!!!

Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite Grey and Black ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case
Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite Grey and Black ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: Great styling, subdued but just edgy enough. Well laid-out clean interior. Good build quality. Very roomy, nice cable management.

Cons: Like the white lighting scheme, but wholly cow are they bright!! Finally turned them off, but just the hard drive indicator light can blind you and that you cannot turn off.

Overall Review: The major flaw in this case, especially for a computer tech that bought this for a customer build on a tight schedule, is that IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE CUSTOM OVERSIZED FAN SCREWS NEEDED TO INSTALL FANS ON SIDE AND TOP PANELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Standard fan screws will not work on the oversized holes drilled in case. Called Corsair and they simply emailed me an RMA form to fill out and send in!!! What?!! I might be losing a client and get stuck with over a grand of custom parts and you can't be bothered to rush those puppies to me?!! Check around the internet, this seems to be a rampant problem. I love Corsair's hardware, but shame on you Corsair for such a lazy response.

Best Quad Stand Hands Down! Just buy it!

Planar 997-5602-00 Black Quad Monitor Stand for LCD Displays
Planar 997-5602-00 Black Quad Monitor Stand for LCD Displays

Pros: Cheap! Easy to Install High Quality Parts Sharp Looking

Cons: The tension screw for each monitor clip (behind monitor)does not adjust enough to really lock monitor position. It does stiffen the monitors, but the monitors can still be shifted around by hand. A locking mechanism would of been nice.

Overall Review: Don't bother looking any further. If you are in the market for a cheap quad stand, but don't want a piece of cr@p, this is it!! I'm a quality oriented guy, and love well designed stuff. I was looking (and drewling) at the Ergotech 600-F28-B33. I couldn't afford that bad boy, so I decided to go for their lower model, the 100-D28-B22. Well, that thing proved to be a big fat dud! I spent hours banging my head on the wall trying to put it together, and in the end, I'm still not happy with the look and the fit-up of the parts. In contrast, this Planar was a dream. You will not believe how easy it is to assemble the components! And, on top of it, the stand looks really nice. I'm a tough person to please, but I am overjoyed about this Planar quad monitor stand. So overjoyed that I am buying another one. I have (4) Samsung 213t LCD monitors on one stand and no problems.
