Decent So Far
Pros: Free shipping when I purchased it, decent price, and good power output.
Cons: If your like me and are using this in an older computer, be prepared this only has 3 molex connectors.
Overall Review: I purchased this for my older PC I built around 06 for my parents, the other PSU was getting weak and finally failed. I am on a budget so I picked this up, so far so good 6 months in.
Decent
Pros: The case is cheap, quality electrical connectors, comes with a quality fan.
Cons: I was un-able to utilize all the fan slots. I ordered a Antec 750 psu and it covered the entire PSU and half of the fan slot on the bottom. My motherboard a ASUS P6X58D-E barely fit, and the threading on the motherboard tray was off quite a bit. I subtracted three stars due to the poor quality control that caused 3 of the Motherboard threads to be off the ATX standard. I ordered this case not expecting the best thing in the world, but I was expecting quality from Thermaltake.
Overall Review: If you are planning on using a large motherboard, this case is not for you. The metal is thin but the paint looks real good inside and out. Even though I was un-able to use 3 of the extra fans I ordered I will be returning them.
Great upgrade from XP
Pros: I love XP with a passion, so I can say this is like a polished, faster, and more stable operating system. Load times are slightly longer by a few seconds, but once you hit log on, your logged on! Shut down takes, literally, 3 seconds. I have encountered almost zero compatability issues. Only issue is with the game minecraft. COD Black ops, MW1, 2, WaW, Half life 1 and mods, starcraft, warcraft 2, 3, all work perfectly.
Cons: I am used to the original start menu, I am a bit dissapointed this did not have an option to switch to it. Shut down button in start menu is frustrating, if your used to the xp style, your going to shut down your PC when you want to choose between sleep, restart etc. Some of the security features are a but annoying aswell, your going to have to accept a download 3 times before it begins. Atleast with IE9.
Overall Review: System specs are as follows: ASUS P6X58D-E Creative Labs Titanium 4 gigs ram Nvidia 465 EVGA Superclocked 2 seagate 500 gig HDs
Good bang for the buck
Pros: This splitter is of good quality, and works great. I picked this up to provide for the addition of new SATA drives to my PC. I currently have it powering two Seagate 500gig HDDs. The molex connector was well built, and the little contacts were solid (something that is not common in cheap molex conenctors.) The conductors have a wire sleeve that looks great and keeps the wires intact.
Cons: None, this is a great product.
Overall Review: The price is hard to beat, this was one of the cheapest ones on the list and is good quality. Why spend more cash? Newegg shipping was great, as always.
Good
Pros: I upgraded from the onboard sound on my ASUS P6X58d-E mobo and instantly the quality of the sound had improved. I use ventrilo and peoples' voices appeared clearer and more "real." I was expereicing an issue with sound cutting off in online games and this cured it.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I use my PC mainly for watching videos, and playing single and multiplayer games. This card is not too expensive and delevers good quality. Been a loyal Creative user for 10 years.
great HD
Pros: Silent, quick, small, and affordable. I purchased my first one about 6-8 months ago when I built my current PC with an ASUS P6X58D-E mobo running XP pro and Win7 ultimate. No compatability issues, and I got plenty of space. Running two of these bad boys. I will be sure to pick up another if I need more than 1 tb of space.
Cons: Not a maxtor? not much I can do about that though lol.
Overall Review: I picked up the second one with free shipping, made the deal all that better. Using UPS 3day it got to my house in 3 days, just as advertised. Good packaging and shipping on Neweggs part. I use my PC for watching movies/videos, online/solo gaming, and music.
