Pros: Has all of the features I need for good workstation systems. No problems with the I/O shield as others have described. The two systems that worked are running great with no issues. Supports ECC memory.

Cons: Some of these motherboards have serious issues. 2 out of 4 new boards are defective. Failure to show accurate number of cpu cores, failure to reboot and display any boot bios information without clearing cmos, failure to show any bios information at all no matter what you do! buying this model motherboard is like playing Russian roulette!

Overall Review: I have been an ASUS user for ten years and I have never had any issues like this. I have built around 400 business and CAD systems in that time all using ASUS motherboards. Everyone is entitled to a lemon every now and then which is why I will remain a ASUS user. Even after the two board failures I have purchased a ASUS M5A99X EVO motherboard which has no issues! Other users are not as fortunate as I am to have a significant amount of hardware to swap out to validate a failure. If you purchase this board just take note that there is a good possibility you will get a lemon! I just hope the 2 systems that I have running stay running!!!!
