Pros: Amazing use of "quick-time events", which feel perfectly ingrained with the game. Well developed characters and a story which will keep you guessing till the very end are the high points of the game. The good story is backed up by the control system which can appear simplistic, yet once actually experienced hands on, engrosses gameplay. It just fits so much with the actions on screen that it will become second nature very fast, and is very enjoyable. Even after the gaem is over, you will want to go back and play it over to see the alternative possibilities.

Cons: Rather short, around 20 hours of gameplay on the hardest difficulty level, the first time around. Walking is a little odd and combined with tight spaces and weird camera angles, can produce hard to path environments.

Overall Review: I HIGHLY recommend to play the game on the hardest difficulty level and to play the game the first time without reloading to an earlier save no matter what happens! On a side note, I ordered this game on a monday, free 3 day shipping, strangely received shipment confirmation on a sunday night, but the game did not come in till saturday evening... 3 days more than advertized, 4 days more than what I usually get with 3 day shipping :(

Pros: Cheap burner. Comes with both black and white front plates.

Cons: I have a problem that it cannot burn any DVD I tried. I tried using both Nero and Easy CD and both give a "illegal disk error". Thought it was a bad burner so I RMAed it. Got a new one, same problem. Never got it to work.

Overall Review: I now got a Nec ND-3550A and it burns everything, EVERYTHING!

Pros: The ring is heavy and feels very good to the touch. It is virtually indestructible but more importantly unscratchable under normal everyday use. The seller is amazing. Contacted him directly by email on a Sunday and not only got a reply that day, I got a reply within 2 hours and corresponded for about 7 emails with fulfilling answers to queries of all sorts. Bought another item that very Sunday and the item was shipped out on the following day! Now, this must be exceptional, and would not expect it a second time, not because I do not think the person can do it, but rather it is unreasonable to demand such amazing turnaround. What I mean is, take this as an example of amazing service, rather than a standard to look for every time and be disappointed.

Cons: None at all!

Pros: - Diminutive size - Powerfull for the size - Upgradable (HDD & Ram) - Runs super silent - Comes with monitor mounting plate - Will run Windows 7 Ultimate just fine - 40 Watt/h power consumption (less than 1 non-energy-saving lightbulb) - eSata, HDMI, digital audio - will run most programs just fine - runs many "old" games just fine (WoW ~20 FPS in Dalaran, UT 2004 just fine, etc) I bought this computer as a barebone (no HDD, no RAM) from another reseller since Newegg did not have it, would have bought from here else. This little thing is powerful enough to be your always-on computer. Surfing the web, watching videos, working on any office productivity software, it will do it all with no issues. The best part is that it will play 1080p video and with the HDMI port, you can watch it on your nice big flat screen. (**See OTHER for more info on video playback) It runs quite cool for being in such a tight fit box. It also runs very quite; you can sleep by it and be fine.

Cons: - Opening the case to reach the ram will make you cringe. One needs to be very careful not to break the plastic when bending it, which (bending) is required to unhook the side panel. There are a few sites which will show you how to open the side panel, yet few show exactly how to reach it. The 1012 has a plastic border which runs around it, this needs to be carefully made to bulge out in the middle of one of the sides, then whilst keeping it deformed, one needs to use another tool to lift the cover which itself has a small boarder (2-4mm). - Asus changed the mount from metal to plastic, not a huge issue for the majority of the people. It is an issue if you need it secured against theft and rely on the mount to provide this. The mount is plastic and can be forcefully snapped off.

Overall Review: Video Playback - this is a common issue with these kinds of machines, high def video requires a fast CPU, which the Atom really is not. Thus the solution is to use video players which use the GPU to help. What you will need: - Media Player Classic Home Cinema (open source product) - DirectX (Free from Microsoft) (d3dx9.dll error message if you do not have them) - Latest drivers from nVida (all 3 of them) - Possibly .Net Framework 4 - Possibly Direct3D (should come with DirectX) - Windows 7 or Vista (can be done in XP but it's harder) I personally recommend Windows 7 for being a better OS overall. A side note: disregard the comment made by the inept user which ranks his knowledge high but clearly is a beginner. You do not need an optical drive to install anything, even the OS, as pen drives are just fine (you will need to make them the primary boot in the bios, but this is just common sense), or you can use the network connection. His review should be deleted for ineptne

Pros: Good memory for the price. Speeds compare to more expensive memory.

Cons: Mail in rebate had an absurdly short submission window (around 1 week). The rebate was received on 8/13/2008 and as of 09/04/2008 is is still in processing (has not shipped).

Pros: I own 3 different versions of this keyboard, the first now at least 2 years old. Never had a problem, at all. - Laptop keys - Smooth typing - USB (used to be PS/2 only) - Small frame = little weight - Low Cost After using this keyboard you will not want to type on anything else, ever! The best keyboard I have ever used!

Cons: The new version is a little different from the one before. Namely it is say 1/4" smaller, and the keys require a tad more force to press. The fact that the new version is a bit smaller, does not affect anything but the left windows key, which is now the size of a letter key. (Why the left one, and not the right one that few people ever use?) Other than a momentary adjustment, nothing is out of order.

Overall Review: The new version is a tad higher than the old, meaning it has a more pronounced slant. You probably will not be able to tell if you do not have both side by side. New black stripe finish looks nice. New buttons feel a little bit more solid than the old ones. A superb keyboard overall.
