Cooler Master LED Controller A1

Cooler Master Addressable Gen 2 RGB LED Controller A1, 3 ARGB headers, connect up to 80 individual LEDs for a total of up to 240 LEDs
Cooler Master Addressable Gen 2 RGB LED Controller A1, 3 ARGB headers, connect up to 80 individual LEDs for a total of up to 240 LEDs

Pros: Works great. The Cooler Master Masterplus software is pretty nice. Great replacement for the crummy Asrock Polychrome Sync RGB software.

Cons: I did had a major issue, but found an easy solution. When I told Windows to shut down my PC, the RGB lights on my fans would go off during shutdown like they were suppose to, but when the PC fully shutdown the lights came back on. The CPU fans were still spinning but the case fans had stopped. When pressing the power button on my PC all that would happen was the fan lights would blink off then on. I had to flip the switch on the PSU for a moment then back on before I could turn my PC back on. Solution: I unplugged the SATA power cable from the LED Controller A1. Turned my PC on and surprisingly found the RGB on my fans connected to the controller were still working. This controller has a USB 2.0 interface. It has a cable that plugs into a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. It does NOT have a cable that plugs into a standard 3 pin ARGB header.

Overall Review: My guess: the USB 2.0 header on the motherboard is providing enough power for my ARGB without the SATA power cable from the PSU plugged in. No idea if the issue I had was unique or a widespread problem, but thankfully the solution was very simple. With some Cooler Master 3-to1 ARGB splitters, I have 6 fans, graphics card, and Cooler Master ARGB GPU support plugged in for a total of 8 devices. Even without the SATA power plugged into the controller everything works perfectly fine.

I'm happy with it.

Vetroo Magnetic ARGB LED Strips 5V 3PIN for PC Aura SYNC, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync
Vetroo Magnetic ARGB LED Strips 5V 3PIN for PC Aura SYNC, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync

Pros: Looks fantastic. No 'hotspots' on the LEDs. Took about 3 days to get here.

Cons: The magnets on the clips aren't very strong. The end of the ARGB cable is a little wide and didn't fit into my ARGB controller. (Ironic since my ARGB/PWM controller is also a Vetroo and purchased from the same seller.)

Overall Review: The magnets on the clips hold just barely well enough. It's possible it could be my PC case (maybe thick paint or something the manufacturer used). I might just get some double sided sticky pads/tape later. As for the ARGB cable, I happened to have an ARGB splitter cable laying around I wasn't using that fit into the controller and I plugged the LED strip into that. Problem solved. Overall very happy with this LED strip. I might buy another later for my other computer. :)

It's something

MONTECH, KING 95 Dual-Chamber ATX Mid-Tower PC Gaming Case, High-Airflow, Toolless Panels, Sturdy Curved Tempered Glass Front and Side Panel, ARGB Lighting, Prussian Blue
MONTECH, KING 95 Dual-Chamber ATX Mid-Tower PC Gaming Case, High-Airflow, Toolless Panels, Sturdy Curved Tempered Glass Front and Side Panel, ARGB Lighting, Prussian Blue

Pros: Great features. Looks awesome. Great cable management. Includes rubber plugs for front USB/Mic/Headphone to keep dust from getting in. Power and reset buttons feel great.

Cons: Dust filter is permanently fixed to the top panel. Bottom dust filter has to be pulled out from the rear of the case.

Overall Review: With top fans set to exhaust, the permanent dust filter restricts airflow a little bit. Depending on your setup, you may need to move your computer to remove the bottom dust filter for cleaning. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives.

ALAMENGDA Open Computer Case,Two-way Server ATX Motherboard Tray Test Stand, Test bench, ATX Mid Tower
ALAMENGDA Open Computer Case,Two-way Server ATX Motherboard Tray Test Stand, Test bench, ATX Mid Tower

Pros: Includes cable with button on it that plugs into the motherboard front panel power switch pins so you don't have to use a screwdriver to jump the pins to turn on the PC. Includes a metal cap that goes onto the motherboard standoff screws that allows you to use a screwdriver to install/remove them. Pretty solid construction. Easy to assemble. No parts or screws missing as far as I can tell.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: For $20 it's better than I expected. It suits my needs just fine as I have no need for anything more.

No complaints

Didn't take too long to receive the item I ordered. The correct item was received. The item I ordered was actually a little nicer looking than the photos on Newegg. I'm quite happy with the seller and the product I purchased.
