Overall Review: I purchased this drive specifically for the Retrospect software included with the drive. Retrospect is one of the best backup software utilities available. Retrospect was easy to setup, but unfortunately the shortest backup frequency you can set is once per day. In my situation, I require hourly backups for an Access database for a production floor. The software simply could not provide what I needed and I had to obtain a different piece of software to fully satisfy my needs. If you just need the drive, then this is a great choice. If you're buying it for the backup software, you may need to purchase other backup software.

Pros: 1. The heat spreaders really help improve the heat distribution within your laptop. It's totally worth the little extra. The temperature of my laptop's underside decreased with these heat spreaders. 2. You can't beat this price!

Overall Review: I installed this in an Asus EEE 701. At first I was concerned by a small surface mount component beneath the RAM. I thought that the heat spreaders may contact it and short out the component. There turned out to be enough clearance and I've had no issues with this component. I said it once, and I'll say it again - at this price you really can't go wrong.
