Great drives so far

Pros: * Speed: I'm able to hit 3.1 - 3.4GB/s local read speeds, which is pretty good for a 4-drive ZFS mirrored pair configuration. That's almost enough to saturate a 40Gb/s Infiniband or fibre connection. * Quiet: I'm running 4 of these in a Dell T7910 under my desk, and it's pretty quiet.
Overall Review: These have so far proven to be great drives. I intended to use Seagate IronWolf drives but after purchasing 10 and having 7 of them DOA, I returned them all; that's an unacceptable level of DOA such that I can't entrust my irreplaceable cat videos and fondue recipes to such hardware. Bought 4 of these Toshiba drives and all has been well. I'm ordering an additional drive so I have a spare on hand.
Buggier than a rain forest

Pros: Light. Easy to throw. Probably OK as a straight-forward AP, but I bought it for its more advanced capabilities and they're not available or usable.
Cons: Won't do most of what it claims it will. Tried to configure it to use a static IP, which works. The tried changing the operation mode to AP router, which resulted in a totally unresponsive web GUI. Did a hardware reset and started over...same result. It's going back.
Overall Review: The manufacturers of SOHO network gear just don't understand that usability matters.
Works great

Pros: Reasonablly priced, and works flawlessly under Linux Mint 17.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Does everything it's supposed to do; no more, no less. Transfer speeds to an external SSD HD are about 95MB/s read and 71MB/s write.
Pretty nice

Pros: It's natively recognized as a USB keyboard and mouse, so I can use it to make changes to the BIOS of the Dell Precision T5500 that I'm using as a media PC.
Cons: Not the greatest keyboard "feel," at least for my tastes - not real crisp. No big deal, since I'm not writing my memoirs on the computer that it's hooked up to.
Overall Review: I didn't try installing a driver to make use of the "extra" bells and whistles, so I can't comment on whether or not they work. Works fine with several Debian- and Ubuntu-based Linux distros I've tried it with.
Mine just died.

Pros: Very fast...while it lasted.
Cons: It died today.
