Tuner Can Not Be Found From Sleepmode

AVerMedia AVerTVHD Duet - PCTV Tuner (A188 - White Box)
AVerMedia AVerTVHD Duet - PCTV Tuner (A188 - White Box)

Pros: Seems to work great unless it is coming out of sleep mode.

Cons: My shows I have set up on WMC will not record because when WMC wakes up 10 minutes before the recording starts it can't find the tuner. I hate wasting electricity and sleep mode works great for saving power. I contacted the company and they said it is a known issue and replaced it with another version that I think had two resistors replaced. "S1/S3 Issue" I installed the replacement card but it is having the same issue. I reopened the trouble ticket and I am waiting to hear back.

Fast but loud!

GIGABYTE - 14.0" - Intel Core i7 4th Gen 4700HQ (2.40GHz) - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760M - 8 GB DDR3 - 1TB HDD 128 GB SSD - Windows 8 - Gaming Laptop (P34G-CF1 )

Pros: Wow this is fast for video editing!

Cons: Wow this is the loudest laptop I have ever heard. It is like a jet taking off when i am rendering or editing a video. I did a video which demos this on my YouTube channel, I am sure they will not let me link to it here.

Fan Spikes Every 5 Minutes at Idle

CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750 W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750 W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Install was a very nice experience.

Cons: Running my system at idle for about an hour the fan on PSU goes from being completely off to 100% full in about 3 seconds then turns itself off right after that. On my Kill-a-Watt meter the wattage is at a range of 130Watts to 140Watts running at idle, when the fan spikes the wattage remains in that range. When it spikes and I am monitoring both the CPU usage and the GPU as well I am not seeing any spikes, so to me it seems like it just a function of the PSU. This is very annoying, I would rather it spin a little bit all the time then blast warm air out of it every 5 minutes. I have recently read on the web that others recently are having this issue as well, so if it is a bad production run I would like to get something different. I have never returned an item to NewEgg so I have to figure out that process works with a "Standard" return.

Overall Review: i7-3930k with GTX680 overclocked.

Tuner is Lost out of Sleep Mode

AVerMedia AVerTVHD Duet - PCTV Tuner (A188 - White Box)
AVerMedia AVerTVHD Duet - PCTV Tuner (A188 - White Box)

Pros: Works really well.

Cons: When coming out of sleep mode on Windows 7 the tuner can't be found, I have to reboot and then the tuner works again. Does anyone know how to get around this?
