Pros: Perfect Machine for Parents/Grandparents. The combo of Win7 and this particular hardware spread makes for a pretty effective mix. - Run DeCrapify - shut down all the silly stuff - install Msoft Security Essentials - Use Chrome, OpenOffice, Thunderbird - Load LogMeIn Result? Scary fast boot (pops right out of hibernation too) with extremely fast program launches on that particular batch of programs. The slowest it Thunderbird of course - if they have a decent net connection throw them onto Gmail or other. -SUPER quiet -plenty of USB on the back and extra bits on the front -There is space for another Drive by the way - SATA all the way. Very happy to be able to drop this machine off to grandparents - a definite "welcome to the future" kind of thing. -Nice small footprint, nice keyboard too - feels a little like a laptop keyboard or the new Logitech backlits. Basic mouse. In the end - set it up and walk away.

Cons: Ok, so not the standard power supply, could be an issue later it it pops but doubtful. This is not a game machine. If you think your're going to load Crysis then please go away. -Adding a vid card? not so much, it's only got a 250watt power supply so you're not going to be able to cheat that.

Overall Review: With Win7, one of the things that seems to have changed was allowing the system to focus more on UI. So things do actually FEEL faster all around. Mix that in with 64 bit and a few quick loaders like Chrome and you're going to have a very different experience with any hardware.... To be quite honest it FEELS about as fast as my heavy lifting machine with a good SSD, that kinda makes me a little jealous. And now the price has dropped to $350? crazy.

Pros: Cool it off, and it's great. Does what it should after that. Nothing complicated.

Cons: Crack the thing open and laugh at the ridiculous heat sink they included. They spent more money on the pretty blue LED's than on proper temperature control.... pretty strange really. Clearly somebody needs a demotion in that company.

Pros: I've got one, and decided to come back for more but now it's done? So what's next - what's the new equivalent or better than this one. 1. VERY quiet 2. Faster than most 7200's

Pros: A little setup, and a lot LESS headache, especially if the girl is pretty continually bummin out on the "where's the cord" blah blah blah.... SOLVED. Then, it gets even better: doing product shots or fussy photography? the images are on your screen, and in photoshop in a snap - absolutely killer. The software is mature, if you even ever have to see it (I never do) and it's not failed me once, not even the threat of such a thing. The camera might turn off in the middle of a transfer - no big deal, when you turn it on again freakin POOF it's picking up where it left off. I'm just using it for the offloading of pics to the computer, not even scratching the surface of what it can do in terms of uploading to the social/photo sites.

Cons: If your in a rush to pull video off, then maybe use the cord or drop the the card in a reader, seems to be a little faster...especially since the camera shuts off after 5 min. Hardly a flaw though

Overall Review: Makes my wife happy with seems only like pure magic. Buy yourself a wolf shirt with this thing and you'll be immortal.
