Almost perfect
Pros: Widescreen, adjustable height, bright and clear picture, no dead/stuck pixels, DVI cable included.
Cons: Might be too bright in some environments, vertical viewing angle too small, more expensive than some other monitors with the same panel and comparable picture quality.
Overall Review: The only reason I'm not giving it 5 eggs is that the optimal vertical viewing angle is so small that I have to tilt the monitor every time I move from my chair to the couch to watch a DVD. The couch is lower by maybe 4-5 inches - at ~5 feet it's not a big difference in viewing angle, but the screen looks significantly darker. Horizontal viewing angle is ok. Overall, this is a great monitor if you don't want to take a risk with some less known brand, but be prepared to pay a small premium for it.
Less than I paid for
Pros: Price and free shipping
Cons: Doesn't work. Installing this network card caused my PC to crash with Windows "stop error" once and hang (become unresponsive) multiple times. Two times out of 10 tries I was able to boot into Windows, but the network transfer speeds were nowhere near 100Mbps, let alone 1Gbps. I did all sorts of tests - removed other components from the PC, swapped around cables and switches, put the card into another PC, etc - to eliminate any chance of incompatibility or other issue, but the card is clearly defective.
Overall Review: This is the first time I'll get to try newegg's RMA process.
Absolutely awesome
Pros: Awesome resolution, great for movies and Visual Studio, lightweight, power-efficient, dedicated input switch button, all sorts of adjustments via on-screen menus, unbeatable price for the quality.
Cons: The adjustment buttons are flush with the bezel, barely visible and have no tactile feedback.
Overall Review: I'm not sure why the other reviewers dislike the stand so much. Maybe theirs were defective or older design. Mine has a very reassuring metal-to-metal coupling, tilts and rotates, and is stable as a rock. It's amazing to think that I paid almost twice as much 3 years ago for a 20" Samsung that uses almost twice as much power (~80W vs 44W) and now looks like a dinosaur next to this.
Incredible value
Pros: Cheap, fast, efficient, did I mention cheap?
Cons: None for the product. Newegg packing staff could be more careful though. Ordered two CPUs about two weeks apart. The first one was placed in the plastic tray with pins against the plastic and both foam inserts on top of it, surprisingly none of the pins were bent. The other one was placed in the tray correctly with foam on both sides, but the tray was not wrapped in bubblewrap and had "sunk" to the bottom of the shipping box. Never seen such sloppy packaging from Newegg before.
Overall Review: This CPU represents incredible value for money. It does everything I could throw at it in an HTPC, including 1080p h.264 without hardware acceleration, and my whole system with 4GB RAM and 2TB of storage idles at 55W. Just fascinating.
Good deal without doubt
Pros: Color laser printer, good deal with rebate, less expensive toner than some others, good print quality.
Cons: Sometimes unbelievably slow to print first page, toner still costs more than I paid for the printer, small paper tray inconvenient for manual feed.
Overall Review: Would have given 5 eggs if not for the occasional 1/2 minute wait to print a page - note that the specs say 14 seconds to first page FROM READY but quite often the printer decides to not become READY for additional 15 seconds or so. Once it gets going it is faster, quieter and produces better quality than my old B&W Dell 1110 at nearly the same price with the color capability being a nice bonus. Color prints are not photo-lab quality but excellent for documents. I knew what to expect in terms of print quality so I'm very satisfied overall. If you get one of those rebate deals for less than a benjamin, I'd say go for it, just don't forget to grab an A-B USB cable - the printer doesn't come with one.
Impressive
Pros: Inexpensive, cool and quiet
Cons: Can't hear if it's on... :)
Overall Review: As the summer came my Pentium D 915 with a stock cooler started rebooting sporadically - apparently from overheating. I've chosen the CF900 as a replacement for the stock cooler because it was among the cheapest aftermarket coolers with good Newegg reviews and decent noise specs. So far it's great. We'll see how long it will last.
