Don't let the size hinder you! (Mini ITX 0C 6GB)

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card GV-N1060IXOC-6GD
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card GV-N1060IXOC-6GD

Pros: - Small form factor with beefy heatsink and one fan. Great for tight spaces and miniITX boards. - Also great in midtowers where the Windforce or Full size card would be too long (anything over 9" - runs cool, quiet and stable at 1080 on most games. Getting above 32fps on most titles and maintains 59fps+ with all setting cranked to High/ultra - Gigabytes software from website helps manage fan and power setting for card and you can get an additional overclock through this utility. OC from factory is fine.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: I upgraded from a Gigabyte Windforce 660GTX 2GB. At first I got the dual fan Windforce 1060 and unfortunately it was an open box and didn't work as well as I'd like. The holiday season wiped out stocks quick except for the miniITX version. Same specs only a slight difference in boost mHz. You can hardly tell the difference. Once put into my machine, it's drivers loaded flawlessly and I made sure the drivers were current with Geforce Experience software. Putting it through it's paces, I ran every major title that was resource heavy that I could which includes: Crysis 2 Wolfenstein: New Order Bioshock 2 GTAV Metro 2033 Far Cry 4 Just Cause 3. I turned most of these games up to Very High or Ultra and did not have any issues despite I'm still using a Phenom Quad core. This was an excellent and cost effective boost which made me go back and reload games! I cannot hear the fan when it is idle or under load. You don't even know it's spinning up but can check the speed through the Gigabyte program or GPU-Z like I use. Bottom Line: This card is awesome and at a great price point. Don't worry about the size of the card. It gives the same performance as the bigger versions but is just a bit chunkier and shorter. Heat isn't an issue due to the huge heatsink that dissipates heat well.

Cheap and powerful

XIGMATEK FCB (Fluid Circulative Bearing) Cooling System XLF XLF-F1455 140mm White LED Black Case Fan PSU Molex Adapter/extender included

Pros: Low price with rebate. Pushes a nice volume of air and has very low noise

Cons: None yet

Overall Review: Just received this today and tested it out. Very quiet. LED isn't too overbearing and the amount of air this thing moved without installing in case is good. I'll see how much it drops temps in my Element G case since the original fan went out. The rebate will expire by the time this is posted but for under 3 dollars I was able to get this item. Even when it goes back up to normal price, it's still a nice replacement fan.

They do what they are supposed to

Rosewill RCW-309 - 12" Fan Power Supply Cable
Rosewill RCW-309 - 12" Fan Power Supply Cable

Pros: Neat cables and the UV tubing is a nice touch considering they also sale these without for the same price.

Cons: None...but then again how can you screw up cables?

Overall Review: Good cheap extensions in case you're trying to reach a controller in the front of the case.

Excellent Fanless Budget Card

GIGABYTE GeForce 7600GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-NX76G256D-RH
GIGABYTE GeForce 7600GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-NX76G256D-RH

Pros: No Fan = Silent. Runs warm but plays all games confidently and at high settings. I don't have SLi but if I did, two of these would rock. Linux recognizes the card. Nothing that can't run it yet. Great price and good performance compared to 7800s and better.

Cons: Not many in circulation

Overall Review: When you can run BF2 (of course with 2GB Corsair RAM) at High setting without any problems, you can't complain. FEAR runs flawlessly. I've heard complaints about heat but with a side window fan I only get up to about 46C and that's during hours of gaming.

Great chip on a budget

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ - Athlon 64 X2 Manchester Dual-Core 2.0 GHz Socket 939 89W Processor - ADA3800DAA5BV
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ - Athlon 64 X2 Manchester Dual-Core 2.0 GHz Socket 939 89W Processor - ADA3800DAA5BV

Pros: I got this chip after the Core Duo caused all the AMD chips to drop their price. I replaced a 754 3200+ only because the board I was using needed an RMA (yay for spare parts). Now I'm running this chip and fly through anything with ease. I don't overclock much but I've been able to run BF2 at high settings and any other game in my inventory.

Cons: Discontinued 939 socket.

Overall Review: Even though AM2 is going to be the dominant socket for a while, I still think this is a stable CPU. Very overclockable and even though both cores aren't utilized due to software developers, it runs everything flawlessly. Since it's so cheap...buy it as a replacement for old Barton or 754 chips. Asus A8n-E works great with it.

Silent, Fast and Cheap...

GIGABYTE GeForce 7600GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-NX76G256D-RH
GIGABYTE GeForce 7600GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-NX76G256D-RH

Pros: For the price, this card is excellent! The heatsink is passive but I have a case fan blowing directly on it and under load I've only got up to about 46c running F.E.A.R. on medium settings! No sound so case is significantly quieter. I've thrown graphics and games at it and they've run flawlessly without OCing. If you have an SLI setup, you can get two of these and still pay less than a 7600GT or 7800.

Cons: None...does it's job well!

Overall Review: Excellent choice for those who don't have 7800GT money. Until DirectX 10 games are introduced, this card would hold you down and give you excellent performance for the price.
