Works perfectly on Aorus X5S v5-SL1.

Pros: Works perfectly on Aorus X5S v5-SL1.
Cons: none. Just that Aorus X5S v5 is a beast to upgrade to full RAM capacity.
Overall Review: Expanded laptop to 64GB RAM - Yooohooo!!!
Cheap SSDs but not worth the price!

Pros: less expensive than competitors
Cons: Extremely slow, slower than HDD at times when doing dd of a partition from 1 ssd to another. I bought 2 of these to add capacity to my laptop. I didn't know I would have to give up on ssd speed. They operate ok under usual use, but as soon as I try to backup a partition from one ssd to the other, the drive drags at a slow 60-200MB/s for a 60GB partition! Needless to say, I am not happy at all!
Overall Review: If you don't care about throughput and just want capacity, these are ok. Otherwise a bad buy.
Great overall laptop, with a few drawbacks.

Pros: - Expandable to 64GB RAM - Expandable to 3.5 TB storage, 2000MB/s and 1500MB/s speeds on SSDs - 4K UHD 15" screen - Light weight for all the internal hardware - USB type c connector - Pleasantly surprised by 50-70MB/s throughput over wifi. Only get 5MB/s with Sony laptop on the same LAN. - Nice sleek look and feel - Lighted keyiboard
Cons: - Expanding memory to get full 64GB is way too difficult - The keyboard does not have CAPS/NUM LOCK indicators so is annoying when accidentally hitting either key. - Touchpad is somewhat difficult to use as you must click exactly on the bottom corners to get left/right clicks properly. - Keyboard is a little flimsy, but I like the feel of of the keys
Overall Review: I didn't purchase this laptop for gaming, just wanted the hardware for virtualization. It's a very nice system for the price. Would like to have seen the size just slightly smaller, but can't really complain too much about that as there is really quite a lot packed inside. I also like the placement of the ports, power connector in back and out of the way.
