Just awesome

Pros: - Strong signal. - Direct browser config, no smartphone app required. - Relay/mesh network available. - Wall hangable.
Cons: - Wall mount holes on bottom face wrong direction.
Overall Review: I like to put my wifi router high up on the wall, to give the signal a little extra help. This router does support wall mounting, but the mounting holes require hanging with the "front", where the LEDs are, pointing up or down. The problem is that all the cables are in the "back", and they force the LEDs to be pointing at the ceiling where I can't see them. It would be perfect to mount it with the LEDs pointing to the side, with the cables hanging out the other side.
Sorry Newegg, bad luck

Pros: Great price. Decent performance numbers. Good reviews of this chipset. Big heatsink. HDMI out.
Cons: The card wouldn't work for me. Full-res came up for about a second then the screen turned off. This was after I tried an Asus HD3450 card which had different problems (crashing my system) and had to go back.
Overall Review: I got my RMA, marked "replace" on it, and it got changed to "refund" with no explanation. Don't know if I did something wrong. I'm giving up on parts by mail for a while.
Super fast, not for Linux

Pros: - Blindingly fast. Ryzen 5800H is no joke. - Probably great for gaming.
Cons: - Could not get Linux to work. - BIOS lacking features. - Nvidia GPU forced for external displays. - Screen feels a bit flimsy.
Overall Review: This would have been awesome as a workstation, which is what I needed instead of a gaming system. This means for me Linux is required. I found that the Linux Nvidia driver was required for the external display ports, and I could get only garbage or blank display with it. The builtin display worked perfect with AMD driver. This would have worked for me if the BIOS let me disable the Nvidia GPU, and drive external displays with the AMD GPU, but I can understand why they left this out for a gaming machine.
No worries

Pros: Great price. Speed as advertised.
Cons: Missed 1 egg since the shipping took a really long time. Plain UPS has always been better than the odd UPS+USPS combination.
Overall Review: Added this to bring a Toshiba AMD A8-3500M APU laptop to 8GB. With this chipset, dual-channel just works, regardless of brand of mem chips. I'm amazed how much cheaper this DDR3 was than DDR2 was just a short time ago.
Never lets me down

Pros: Great G.SKILL reputation. Dual channel rocks. Makes running a large virtual machine easy.
Cons: Still WAY more expensive than DDR3. I guess it's the extra speed required in the silicon.
SSD is the future

Pros: Excellent price for performance. Good Mushkin reputation. Amazingly fast. Theoretically a human lifetime without mechanical failure.
Cons: Bad reviews. Gets a little warmer than expected.
Overall Review: I bought this to extend battery life of my wife's laptop. Now her machine is faster than mine! I have seen none of the bad behavior in past reviews, I think because it came with recent firmware (3.6.1 IIRC). Now I'm salivating for 3 more of these drives -- one for my workstation, and two in RAID-0 for my file server. Waiting for prices to come down.
