Works with WHS 2011

IOCrest SI-PEX40064 PCI-Express 2.0 Low Profile Ready SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) Controller Card
IOCrest SI-PEX40064 PCI-Express 2.0 Low Profile Ready SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) Controller Card

Pros: I guess the third one is the charm. I ordered two other cards before this and they did not work with Windows home server 2011. this one works right out-of-the-box did not have to install any drivers. So far so good. Waiting for them to come back into stock so I can buy two more.

Cons: No cons. A bonus because it has four ports.

DOES NOT WORK WITH SERVER 2008

HighPoint Rocket 620 PCI-Express 2.0 x1 SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Controller Card
HighPoint Rocket 620 PCI-Express 2.0 x1 SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Controller Card

Pros: I check reviews and two reviews said that they had it working with their windows home server 2011. However for whatever reason it would not even show up in my device manager.

Cons: I submitted twice to High Point and never got an email back in over a month. That is why I cannot return this now because it's been over 30 days. I guess I'm going to have to put it online and get rid of it some other way.

Overall Review: Just ordered a SYBA SI-PEX40064 card. It is listed working with server 2008 R2. We will see if this works.

HDMI and BIOS issues

ZOTAC G41ITX-A-E LGA 775 Intel G41 HDMI Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
ZOTAC G41ITX-A-E LGA 775 Intel G41 HDMI Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Older CPUs and DDR2. Everything on board for an HTPC.

Cons: Downloaded update to bios and it states it is not an award bios but it is so I cant update it. Newer versions of drivers for HDMI don't work so I have to use older ones that give me major sound screeches or no sound at all. WiFi works when it wants to.

Overall Review: I actually came back to this section to look for another board or just put another HDMI video card in it and decided to write a review. I am very disappointed in my first Zotac board and will be replacing it. Too bad because I really don't have the $$$ to blow like this and I hoped I made a good choice.

Works with late 2007 intel iMac

StarTech.com MDVIHDMIMF No Mini DVI to HDMI Video Cable Adapter for Macbooks and iMacs
StarTech.com MDVIHDMIMF No Mini DVI to HDMI Video Cable Adapter for Macbooks and iMacs

Pros: Snug fit so it won't fall out. Some people stated too snug which helped when I installed it by knowing that I would have to apply more than average pressure. Have it connected to a 47" Vizio LCD and it works great with Snow Leopard. I just have the "displays" icon showing on the OS top bar and turn "mirroring" on and off whenever I want to view on the Vizio.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Like others have stated, make sure which type of port your mac has because they both look identical.
