Great Sounding and Comfortable Headphones

Sennheiser HD439 Over-Ear Headphones
Sennheiser HD439 Over-Ear Headphones

Pros: These are a great set of headphones - they sound amazing, and are very comfortable. These are not "bass heavy" - but very neutral. With that being said, they offer amazing sound clarity and do overall with a wide variety of music genres. But if you're looking for something bass heavy, these might not be the phones for you... The fabric on the headphones themselves is a nice plush fabric that I find enjoyable even after several hours of listening/working in them. There is also a plush head cushion at the top of the band that really makes them feel unobtrusive for long listening periods. The build quality is fantastic - I couldn't ask for much more. Of course they are all plastic, but that makes them extremely lightweight. Overall, I love them.

Cons: If your not buying them on sale/clearance, then you might want to hold out until they go back on clearance. These are technically discontinued from the factory and replaced by a newer model....lots of places are trying to sell the leftover stock. I am not saying these are not worth the MSRP value - they certainly are. But your wallet would be greatly benefited by finding them on clearance/special. I got mine through an email blast from Newegg for around 40 bucks.

Overall Review: Remember that these are not bass heavy headphones - they do a great job with great sound quality, but if your looking for heavy thumping, then you might want to look at something else.

Excellent PSU

CORSAIR HX Series HX850 850 W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: This power supply comes in a suede case. Need I say more? This is a spectacular PSU - silent, with loads of horsepower to power pretty much anything you can throw at it. I purchased this unit because of Corsair's high reputation in the PSU market (I previously purchased Antec units, but Corsair has been slowly winning me over). It's also a beefy 850w to power pretty much anything. It's modular, with a very assortment of cables that come in their own high quality bag. My biggest complaint was that it didn't fit very well in my Corsair 400r case - but this is the case, not the PSU, as I confirmed that this thing is standard and should fit just about anywhere. In case you wondering, it does fit in the 400r, it's just that one screw doesn''t line up properly - forcing you to use another hole to hold the PSU to the case by essentially creating a clamp around the case material. It's not a big deal, really. Oh, and did I mention this thing comes with it's own suede pouch? Sexy.

Cons: Didn't align right with my Corsair 400r case - but I knew this was an issue from reviews ahead of time. It's not a huge ordeal to remedy the problem without making any changes to the case or PSU - you just need to use another screw hole.

Great Memory, but check your manual first

CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory Model CMZ16GX3M2A1866C10
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory Model CMZ16GX3M2A1866C10

Pros: Outstanding memory at 1.5v - couldn't really ask for anything more. Haven't experienced a single issue. I purchased this memory for my ASUS Z-97 Pro motherboard, combined with an Intel Core i& 4790K CPU. The combo works great together, and has since day 1. I haven't had to touch much of anything. Anytime you are purchasing memory, you need to look at the motherboard manufacturers website to get the memory/vendor compatibility information (ASUS calls this the QVL, or Qualified Vendor List). For me, that was at http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97PRO/HelpDesk_QVL/ Always triple check sku numbers and part numbers, as sometimes it can get confusing when a vendor repackages memory under a different number (or version...). As always, check the reviews as much as possible to see what other people have experienced. These dimms were listed on the compatibility list for the Z97-Pro, and were one of the highest speed chips I could get that still ran at 1.5v (important to me - I didn't want 1.65v dimms) When it came down to it, I had a couple brands to choose from, but I choose Corsair because of the high quality and reliability I have experienced from them in the past. This instance was no different - not a single problem with installation, setup, or stability. Again, I highly recommend these for supported motherboards.

Cons: Happy to be able to report I don't have any cons at all. I plan on purchasing another 16gb kit soon.
