Great monitor
Pros: Nice picture and refresh rate for gaming. Mine plays double duty for work and play.
Overall Review: Would recommend for people who would like a great all around monitor without breaking the bank
Bait and switch on hardware
Pros: It's been a good computer. Plays games well, and does everything it's supposed to.
Cons: Secondary traditional drive is beginning to fail. This is how I found the bait and switch. I figured if I need to replace my secondary data drive, I might as well upgrade my NVMe drive to something larger than 256gb. COD MW 2019 is 180gb and new games take up a lot of room. The spec on this computer shows 256gb PCIe NVME drive. It has an m.2 PCIe slot, but the drive in it is not NVME. It is NGFF. This is a total bait and switch, and I don't think I'm going to buy another Asus product after this.
Overall Review: It will soon be getting an new SSD 2.5 drive for data and an actual NVME drive. It's a shame that my data drive is failing in less than a year of ownership, but it happens. I still would have given 5 stars until I opened the laptop to see what form factor (length) of the NVMe drive, and then found that I have been lied to.
Excellent Video card
Pros: Video quality for gaming is awesome. High frame rate with settings set to max and HDR enabled. Runs cooler than most cards I have used, even while gaming.
Cons: Very expensive
Overall Review: Yes, would recomment
Great Keyboard
Pros: Good feeback and feel. Pro or Con for some would be the switches on this keyboard are quite loud. I like this, but the wife doesn't
Cons: Battery life is quite short, and sometimes I find myself charging this twice a day.
Overall Review: Would recommend.
