Great power supply.
Pros: 4 12V rails provide ample power for my dual 7900GT cards in SLI, as well as my 7 hard drives. The huge 140mm fan is very quiet, as far as power supplies are concerned.
Cons: The 24/8/4-pin cables are too short for full tower cases--I am having to spend even more money on extenders. No modular cabling support.
Incompatible with the Intel DH57JG motherboard.
Pros: -Effective heat spreaders without much bulk. -Good value.
Cons: -Incompatible with the Intel DH57JG motherboard.
Overall Review: I purchased this set of memory to go with my Intel i3 CPU and DH57JG motherboard HTPC system. The memory compatibility list on Intel's website was and still is pathetically small and the products are not readily available. After a few months of crashes and problems, I got serious with troubleshooting. The memory passed a full night of Memtest86 with nary an error, however, it could not last two minutes of Prime95 without halting. I tinkered with the BIOS settings but nothing would work. I replaced the memory with another brand of identical speed, voltage, and timings. Prime95 ran like a champ. My system is now stable. So, who do I blame for this incompatibility, Intel or Mushkin? To tell you the truth, I don't care who is responsible. I am now stuck with memory I can't use and can't RMA because it's not actually defective, just incompatible. I'm not going to sit here and say, "Mushkin, you've lost my business forever," but I will have reservations about future purchases.
High quality, very sharp
Pros: Very sharp. Very bright. High contrast. Convenient and accurate "auto adjust" feature. Excellent value.
Cons: Maximum refresh rate of 75Hz in 1440x900. No height adjustment.
Overall Review: Overall a very good monitor. I bought two to run in dual-head on my Windows XP machine with an ATI Radeon x800. With one running in analong and the other in digital, I have issues with the refresh rate: I cannot run the second one in 75Hz. Not a large complaint.
Performs as promised
Pros: Supports many formats. Works faster than my old card reader.
Cons: 1 USB port. Green LED on faceplate always on when computer is on.
Overall Review: For some reason, the cables are split into two 3+1 formats, with the ground wire being separate. Strange. Standard 9+key format would have made for easier installation.
Excellent motherboard, great for gaming
Pros: Great for tuners. Can adjust PCI-E bus speed. Power/reset buttons on board. Supports DDR 433/466/500 as well. Onboard diagnostic displays POST code. Includes screwdriver, extra small heatsinks, and a digital thermometer that can be attached to whatever you desire.
Cons: PCI-E 8x/8x in SLI. 4 memory slots. Does not support ECC memory.
Overall Review: I really like this board. Very stable. With DDR 500 memory, I can drop the CPU multiplier, then raise bus speed, resulting in improved performance without overclocking.
Solid!
Pros: Bought two to run in SLI mode. Installation went off without a hitch.
Cons: Rebates are a nuisance. SLI can be a pain for those running dual monitors.
Overall Review: King Kong? Are you kidding me? PowerDVD or something else useful should have been included.
